Important tips for playing PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds: More on the new "first-person only Battlegrounds game modes"

It increases every day, and players literally gain a total of more than 100,000 simultaneous online in just a few hours, playing on several thousand servers at the same time! And such peak popularity is quite justified, because the genre, although not new, has previously experienced a shortage of similar projects with sophisticated graphics, detailed objects, terrain, a large selection of weapons and means of transportation. What does it cost to create servers with the same functionality in the popular game Rust!

This suggests that the game is indeed very interesting and popular among gamers around the world. But, as a rule, novice players experience problems in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, and cannot play comfortably, because in the first minutes the games literally “merge” and do not enjoy the game. To fix this, we have specially prepared for you list of recommendations, tips and secrets for the game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds!

Be sure to “silence the chat” using the CTRL + T buttons

As soon as you get into the lobby, immediately press CTRL + T, especially if you are playing in a team. Literally in the first minutes after landing, chaos will reign in the voice chat, which greatly interferes with a comfortable game. Because of the screams, sounds, and music, you simply won’t hear the steps of other players, and this is a very important point in this project!

The game uses a slightly different key binding. Check her out...

Perhaps this will be unusual for some, but in the game, in order to “go”, the CTRL key is used, which may create discomfort for you at first. And those precious seconds when you can hide and sneak around the house, you will have to spend learning the binding keys. Therefore, we strongly recommend that before connecting to an active session, you check all control keys and customize them for yourself.

We are not in a hurry to get into the thick of things

As soon as you jump out of the plane, you can immediately rush down to quickly reach the ground and try to grab the loot. Yes, this strategy is correct in principle, but only if you are going to land in remote areas. Then it makes sense to be the first to collect loot and, if possible, shoot those who fall behind you.

As a rule, most players, and especially beginners, tend to land in the center, where the main “sorting” and “weeding out” of newcomers takes place. Before you can land, one of the players will find a weapon and shoot you all! So try to fly to less populated areas to reduce your risk and give yourself the opportunity to loot more houses.

Freelock option - "follow the enemies"

During the flight, be sure to use Freelock - look around you. This will allow you to roughly assess the situation and understand where the largest number of players accumulate. It would seem like a simple tip, but most beginners neglect it, and in the air they simply examine the surroundings, admiring the graphics.

I'll take it all at once! Using the TAB key

To save yourself time, and in some cases even save your life, when you find the first boxes, try to immediately pick up everything using the TAB key. Once you're safe in the house, you can sort everything and throw away what you don't need. There is no point in choosing something initially, because... players can suddenly run up and shoot you! Recommended for all beginners in the first minutes of the game.

Selecting a shoulder for inspection

In the game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, you can choose which shoulder you will view from. That is, when you play in third person, you can change the view with the Q and E keys. This is a very convenient feature, especially in cases where you are hiding behind some kind of shelter and you need to look out! Inspecting areas with this regime is much easier and safer.

We collect any weapon

Found a weapon, but no ammunition for it? Do not throw it away under any circumstances, especially if you have just landed. This is a common mistake made by beginners. Cartridges can be found in other boxes and hidden places, but weapons, unfortunately, may no longer be available. Therefore, be sure to take all types of weapons and carry them with you. After just 10-20 minutes of playing, you will understand what to keep and what to throw away. It is recommended to carry several types of weapons with you, because... There are usually not very many cartridges for them, and you can switch from one to another during a shootout.

Pay attention to the level of weapons and equipment

Everything in this game is balanced, including weapon equipment. You are presented with several levels of each type of uniform and weapon. If, for example, you already have a helmet, and you see another one, then under no circumstances pass by. Be sure to see what level she is. If higher than yours, then exchange yours for this helmet in your inventory.

The higher the level of a thing or object, the more significant, convenient, and capacious it is. But pay attention to the condition. A higher level item may be in poor condition, while a lower level item may be in good condition. In this case, choose the second option. It is important to take these points into account, otherwise your chances of winning will be significantly reduced!

The helmet is our everything!

We have already talked about equipment and its levels above, but the most important attribute in this game is the helmet, which protects you from bullets. But here too there are some peculiarities. If you have a level 1 or 2 helmet, then it will protect you from bullets that hit the head, for example, the back of the head. If someone shoots you in the face, such helmets will not save you. In this case, you need a level 3 helmet, which protects against all types of hits.

Moreover, take into account the fact that after a hit the helmet will disappear, and you will need to look for a new one. If possible, carry another helmet with you, because... the likelihood of getting hit in the head by random shots is quite high, especially if you are a novice player.

Be sure to turn the volume up all the way

We have already mentioned that you need to completely turn off voice chat, and we do not refuse these words! But the game sounds need to be turned up to maximum in the settings or played with headphones. Thus, you will be able to hear all the steps of the players, their movements, for example, in the house, and you will be able to approximately predict how soon the enemy will approach you. The same applies to helicopters and equipment. For example, you hear a car passing, and you can roughly estimate where it will go, where it will stop, whether it is worth shooting at it or not, whether there are players nearby who will start shooting at it or not!

A little trick - we close the doors in the houses

How not to give yourself away? It’s very simple - close the doors in all houses, especially those that face the street. By default, all doors in the game are closed, but most players leave them open when searching for loot, thereby revealing their possible location to enemies.

Opponents will think that the house is completely empty, without players, and will try to loot it. This is where turning the volume up to full volume comes in handy to hear exactly where the player is rising and kill him! Even when leaving a building, close the doors behind you. Players will go there and waste their time looking for loot. During this time you will be able to search other houses.

Red zones are dangerous evil!

If you see a red zone on the map, run away from there. In these zones, bombing from military aircraft will soon begin, after which it is almost impossible to survive. If you see a red zone on the map, then try to move away from it as far as possible and as quickly as possible.

Let's look at all the gameplay options in the game.

Solo (Single player)

Eng. option - Solo (Free For All (FFA)). Classic game mode. Complete freedom of action, you can kill anyone. In single player mode, you jump onto the map alone and, relying on your own skills and tactics, must bring the game to the end and remain the last player standing.

Duet (Game for 2 people)

Eng. option - Duo. In this mode, you can play either with a friend or with a complete stranger in pairs. You fight so that the last player or team remains.

Squad

Eng. option - Squad. This is a game mode of Playerunknown's Battlegrounds in which players form teams that fight each other on . It differs from the classic Solo mode (FFA), in which players can kill anyone they want. Here you can join groups of 2,3,4 people or play solo.

5v5 game

The developers have promised such a mode - we are waiting for details.

War

Eng. option - War. The game mode is like Arma 3 BR(Battle Royale), which has a match mode where players kill each other within 50 minutes. Then the battle royale mode ends and the bombing begins. Also, the mode is only announced so far - we are waiting for details.

Squads in is one of three modes available in the game in both third-person (with first-person) and first-person only.

In my personal opinion, this mode is also the most difficult. Here, the primary role is not your personal skills of targeted shooting, survival, etc., and not even the tactical interactions that take place when playing in a duet. Squads require more complex, coordinated actions. And for the chosen strategy to be effective, you will have to work hard.

We will tell you about all the features of this mode.

Finding the perfect team

You can be a very experienced solo player, even in team modes. However, without a solid squad whose members are unable to support you, winning the battle will be an impossible task. So, the first step to lighten the load is to find three good teammates who you can rely on in battle.

These partners must be professionals who know their job. Therefore, you should not play with people who become nervous or let down if someone makes a mistake. In addition to playing skills, these must be adequate, preferably adults. Ideally, you should communicate in the same language.

Team roles

When you play together and understand each other's strengths and weaknesses, formulate goals as a team based on the information received. For example, you should have a driver and a backup driver so that you are not delayed if the first one is killed. If you find a sniper, it is recommended that he be dealt with by a member of the squad who has a sniper rifle and can handle it well. Don't forget that you are a team - just because you found an AWM does not mean you are the ideal player to use it.

Tactics and strategy

There are various tactics when playing in squads, which we will look at below.

Tactic #1: Camp on the Bridge

First, let's look at the well-known, one might already say classic, strategy for playing in a squad. It can be done with one car, but since you are a team, ideally you need to find two vehicles at once. Place them one after another across the exit of the bridge to block it. This will stop any other cars that your opponents try to cross the bridge in all cases, except when:

  • Your opponent is a very skillful driver.
  • Two partners ride on a motorcycle.

However, in the latter case, before they reach the end of the bridge, your sniper should shoot them.

When using this tactic, you need to prioritize shooting. Almost all members of your squad should shoot at the driver until he is destroyed. Most teams will not be able to react quickly enough to jump into the driver's seat and regain control of the vehicle. In nine out of ten cases, the remaining squad members will jump out of the car in panic, allowing you to finish them off without any problems.

If they still manage to regain control of the car, then shoot at the new driver, but do not forget that the car will not be able to move if it does not have tires. If you have the right gun and plenty of ammo, this could be a great opportunity to destroy them. Once you kill all the enemies from the arriving car, add it to your barricade on the bridge. With every new kill you become even stronger! You will get more loot, expand the barricade to get even better things.

Note. If you have a light machine gun, then shoot at the cars - they will explode, killing everyone inside.

Tactic No. 2: camp in a fenced house

Find a remote cluster of buildings in a safe area. It is desirable that it consist of several buildings surrounded by a wall. At this point, your squad should begin to strengthen it. By this I mean the following: block the entrance with a car, place two people on the roof, a third inside the building, right by the window, and finally a fourth person on the ground to guard the wall.

This tactic is effective because players positioned on the roof will be able to spot approaching enemies and even be the first to attack them. Rooftop players are primarily used as scouts to give early warning of approaching enemies, but should still try two or three shots without enemies being able to retaliate. The person in the building only provides cover after players on the roof have been detected by enemies. It is this person who must shoot at the opponents until they hide behind cover, which will give time for gamers on the roof to prepare the next attack (or even the opportunity for the fourth member of your squad located in the courtyard to reach the enemies).

Now that you have attracted the enemies' attention to this building, they should proceed into the complex, expecting that all the enemies are located inside. At this point, your outside player should be well hidden, but in a position where he can make a powerful attack - for example, stand with a double-barreled gun in front of the house, have two shotguns in his hands to quickly kill two opponents, etc. . This will give your teammates an advantage. If the fourth player has a good weapon and a great position, then he should wait until the opposing team passes by before shooting them from behind.

This means that the player outside should hope to at least kill two enemies. Since the other surviving opponents will either turn around or hide behind covers, the player inside the house, near the window, must also begin attacking them. At this stage, players on the roof have a choice - to shoot or not to risk it and throw grenades down. If you do everything right, then your entire team should be alive, and you will receive a large amount of loot.

Tactic No. 3: convoy of cars

Another great squad strategy! Divide your team into two, and sometimes even three cars. If possible, the best driver who knows how to handle a motorcycle gets on the bike and rides forward, checking the road for potential dangers. If he comes into contact with the enemy, he tells the others that they should prepare for battle (if the motorcyclist is confident of victory) or retreat (if everything is exactly the same, but vice versa). Of course, the biker may die, but your entire squad will remain intact.

Imagine if you were moving with the whole squad in a car and fell into a trap - it would hardly be possible to survive. Now, depending on how many cars you have at your disposal, if you decide to engage in combat, then arrange the cars in an arc to create a protective barrier. If there are two people in the car, then the passenger must be placed behind the driver (CTRL + “3” by default). This is an excellent option for protection from the enemy, because when the driver sees him, he will be obliged to turn around on his right side, protecting himself (and, it turns out, his ally, who is sitting just like him, on the left).

Do not forget that using this tactic is related to the desire to survive - using it to kill enemies is not the best idea. This is a safe survival game, so you will have to be as passive as possible. The disadvantage of this tactic is that the cars will have to be refueled. Therefore, before using it, stock up on at least one canister for each car.

Game ending

Hopefully, towards the end of the game, your squad will still be at full strength with a good amount of loot. There are only 20 players left, that is, you make up 20% of those present on the map. At this point I would suggest leaving the cars behind as their loud engines will attract attention and will lead to your quick demise. Don't forget that this mode is completely different from the single player game!

You have to look at the distance. Be prepared for flying grenades that will be thrown in your direction. If you don't act correctly, expect several deaths from just one of the grenades. Divide available medical supplies among squad members (if there is a safe place to do so) and make sure everyone has enough ammunition. There will be no turning back!

Assess the situation, find an area where you have suitable cover, but at the same time you can see where the enemies are coming from. I suggest not going into buildings, as the shrinking circle will eventually push you out into the open air. An open door immediately reveals your position to everyone else. You no longer have the most important element in a game ending - surprise.

Once there are about 15 people left on the field, if your partner is behaving riskily and has been shot down by enemies, then there is no need to follow him. It's better to have three players at the end of the game than two. Enemies can be hidden anywhere, especially now that many have suits that allow them to blend into the terrain. Even if you think the coast is clear, throwing a few smoke grenades at the downed player will simply improve your safety as you move toward the downed player.

This is where your squad needs to show some real teamwork. You must coordinate your actions to deal with the last enemies standing in your way. If you have an advantage in numbers, then the tactic of exchanging killed may suit you. Losing a player to the opposing team will mean a lot more. Keep this tactic in mind, but don't forget that there must be an opportunity for an exchange.

After a long tactical battle, hopefully you will get a splash screen with the famous words Winner Winner Chicken Dinner. Don't forget to take a screenshot and document your victory!

The Free Fire Battlegrounds game operates in two modes - single and team. In single player mode, everyone plays for themselves against everyone else. In a team game, you can have from one to three allies. Team members can be your friends who agreed to take part in the game, or random people who want to join. The player who created the team becomes its captain.

Differences between team mode and solo mode

The ultimate goal for all participants in Free Fire Battlegrounds is to stay alive, but, as practice shows, this is more difficult to achieve alone than in a group. If one of the team manages to survive, all team members become winners. And everyone receives bonuses for this, which give advantages in the next rounds.

Additional command mode features:

  • Party members recognize each other by a triangle icon in a blue circle above the character's head.
  • Group members can agree on a landing spot on the island. The captain points it out on the map.
  • The team can communicate in voice chat.
  • Participants can track the health of their allies (indicators are located on the upper left side of the screen next to the map) and see their location on the island. If a character dies, a skull icon appears next to his name instead of a health bar.
  • The participant cannot kill an ally, even if he shoots at him.
  • Retired players can continue to follow the game and maintain voice communication with remaining allies.

Strengths and weaknesses of group play

Advantages that increase your chances of winning:

  • Ability to share items and weapons with each other: if one player drops an item from the inventory box, another can pick it up.
  • The ability to shoot back at enemies while driving in a car: one drives the car, the other shoots.
  • The ability to conduct close and ranged combat at the same time.

The team mode has, perhaps, only one drawback - an inexperienced player in a group can give away your location to opponents by accidentally leaving cover, or overturn the car in which you are with him. Therefore, if you want to win, form teams of gamers with solid experience.

It is easier to survive on the battlefield when you have an ally at your side, which is why experienced gamers prefer to play Free Fire Battlegrounds with a team of trusted friends. However, those who do not have friends who share an interest in the game will not be left alone either.

Where to find play partners

To find partners, Free Fire Battlegrounds players use different methods: they invite real and virtual acquaintances, get acquainted in official VK group, on Discord channel, in Facebook communities. Or they trust the formation of the team to the game itself.

If you don’t have anyone on your friends list yet, just tell the program the size of the group you’d like to fight with - click the “Squad” or “Duo” button. In the first case, your allies will be 3 people from among the players unfamiliar to you, in the second - one.

Automatic formation of squads is not always a good solution, since the program can select people who do not speak your language as allies. This means that you will not be able to fully communicate in voice chat. On the other hand, there is an element of unpredictability in this, which only adds to the thrill.

If you manage to reach an understanding with random partners, you can add them as friends so that you can continue to fight as one team. For this:

  • enter the player's nickname in the search field;
  • Once found, click the “Add” button.

How to invite friends to the game

Once you have a few names in your friends list, you can send them invitations directly from the Free Fire Battlegrounds interface. Each player who is currently online will have a “+” sign next to their name. Clicking on it is an invitation to the game.

Characters of participants who responded to the call will appear on the screen next to yours. When the team is assembled, all you have to do is touch the “Start” button.

Probably all newcomers to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds do not quite understand the types of game modes and what each mode is. And often, you, like me, once simply pressed start and played.

Basic PUBG Modes

I think we all know that whatever mode you choose, its goal is to land 100 brave players and start the Royal Battle, where only one will survive!

But there are still some features of each mode, I will talk about them in more detail below.

  • Solo- single player game, every man for himself;
  • Duo (Duet)- the ability to play with a partner together. Well-coordinated actions can lead you to the top. If there is no partner, the game will automatically find you a partner;
  • Squad- the ability to form a team of up to 4 people. If you don’t have enough partners, the game can also find them for you automatically during the game loading process;
  • 1-Man Squad pubg (One against squads)- a game mode for extreme sports fans, you will fight against squads and there is no room for error.

Perspective (Perspective, view):

  • FPP - you play in first person;
  • TPP – you can play from a third person perspective, i.e. watch your character from above.

After you have decided on the choice of game mode and camera view, you just need to click on Start to be transferred to the room with the fighters.
