I found myself in the fascinating world of cartoon characters after the birth of my child. These cute and spontaneous characters from everyone’s favorite animated series “Smeshariki” could not help but touch my creativity. At first I had the idea of embroidering Barash for my nephew. When the work was completed and decorated, it turned out that he loved Krosh most of all. I had to urgently look for a diagram and get to work. Then I decided to embroider a funny Nyusha for my niece. Thus, I have formed a mini-collection of characters from the cartoon “Smeshariki”, which now delights children in their homes.

The embroidery patterns are very simple, I think this option is ideal for beginner embroiderers. Each work uses six colors, with three primary colors, the difference is literally in shades, and three additional colors, which are used to embroider small parts and elements of the face. I would also like to say something about the size of the embroidery. It is best to choose a large canvas or a regular-sized canvas for this work, but instead of one standard square, use four as a basis, then the work will look larger. If you want to use embroidery as part of the decor of clothing or other items, then you need to embroider on a standard canvas according to the usual pattern.

I selected the threads myself, since I had some supplies left over from previous projects that were suitable for a small job. When choosing threads, I wanted to emphasize the brightness and cheerfulness of the future embroidery. I didn’t want pale and delicate shades, but I also don’t accept provocatively acidic shades. It should be noted that when embroidering on a large canvas, the threads should not be thin, otherwise the work will seem empty and simply ugly. I chose fairly thick and soft threads, which allowed me to calmly embroider in two threads, without fear that the design would “glow”.

One such work can be completely embroidered in one day. After finishing the work, I ironed the embroidery with reverse side through a wet cloth and placed it in a frame, selecting for each finished work design in the appropriate color. The dimensions of the embroidered pattern are 10*17, which allows you to place the embroidery in a standard 15*20 frame, and choose the color and texture at your discretion.

Smeshariki are the favorite cartoon characters of many children. These are round-shaped animals that have individual character and charisma. Such characters are very easy to draw, so their image is often cross-stitched, since it is not necessary to buy a special pattern for this.

Children will really enjoy this activity more than watching the cartoon of the same name.

For many needlewomen, cross-stitching has long turned from a simple hobby into a hobby. For those embroiderers who have children, it will be interesting to make drawings of Smeshariki using the cross stitch technique. Such images can be easily embroidered on clothes, bed linen or a towel.

Prepare canvas, threads of several colors, a hoop and a needle. Select the pattern you want to embroider or the character your child prefers. Each smesharik is interesting in its own way.

You can cross-stitch, for example Nyusha. This scheme is so simple that even beginners can do it. You will need six colors of thread. Three colors will be the main ones, and the other three will be their shades, which are used to embroider small elements on the face. For work it is better to take a large canvas. If you have a regular one, then instead of one cell, you grab four at once with a stitch. In this case, the embroidery will look more voluminous. To cross-stitch Smeshariki on clothes, do it on regular canvas, according to the standard pattern.

Choosing threads to highlight bright color Smesharika Krosha, there is no need to overdo it and acquire too acidic colors. When working on a large canvas, exclude thin threads. Because of them, the embroidery will look empty, and the design will be ugly. A thick and soft thread in two folds is perfect for these purposes. Then the embroidery will not glow with spaces.

When cross-stitching according to the pattern, do not forget to make stitches in one direction. Nodules should be more of an exception in your work. But if it so happens that you have formed a knot, make it as invisible as possible from the wrong side. The thread that has run out is also secured with a few neat stitches on the other side of the embroidery.

Barash is also one of the characters. Its appearance resembles a fluffy cloud, which must be embroidered in several shades of purple. Barash is a multifaceted person who loves to write poetry and is unrequitedly in love with Nyusha. Therefore, he is considered one of the most beloved cartoon characters.

Smeshariki can be cross-stitched, either separately or together with all the characters. Experienced needlewomen even managed to make some cartoon storylines on canvas, where several characters from the cartoon of the same name are depicted at the same time. It all depends on your level of skill and the desires of your children who are fascinated by these characters. The patterns presented in our article will help you make the best cross stitch.
