Watch your diet

It has been proven that a balanced diet and water can transform your skin in just three months. The human body is made up of what we eat and drink. You cannot count on beautiful skin if you use expensive cosmetics, but at the same time constantly eat fast food and “food garbage”. Eat more vegetables and fruits, protein- and fiber-rich legumes and dairy products, drink at least one and a half liters of water daily - your skin will thank you.

Take care of your neck

The skin on the neck is more delicate than on the face, and therefore more susceptible to the appearance of wrinkles. A sagging neck can show your age, even if your face looks flawless. Use special creams with a high content of collagen and elastin to care for your neck, especially if you are over 30. Do not skimp on these products and do not think that hand and face creams are suitable in this case.

Use lotion masks regularly

The most valuable thing about the lotion-mask method I created is its simplicity. All you need is a cotton napkin, mineral water, lotion and three minutes of your time. First, you need to clean your face with hot water (if there are no contraindications, you can apply a hot, damp towel for a few minutes. This will open the pores and prepare your face for the mask). Next, wet a cotton napkin with water, squeeze a generous amount of lotion onto it and place the napkin on your face, leaving it in this position for exactly 3 minutes. This homemade mask soothes and moisturizes the skin, improving its structure and instantly making it softer.

If you spray water on a piece of paper, the water will remain on the surface of the sheet, gradually evaporating and wrinkling the paper. But if you place a damp towel on the sheet and leave it for a while, the paper will gradually absorb water and become damp. Using the same principle, a lotion-mask moisturizes the face.

It is difficult to imagine a simpler, more convenient, cheaper, and most importantly, extremely effective procedure.

Facial cleansing

The basis of Japanese facial care is perfect, absolute cleanliness. Japanese women use the entire arsenal of decorative cosmetics (concealer, makeup base, foundation, powder), which must be carefully removed in the evening to apply care products.

In order to wash off such an abundance of makeup, Japanese women use the so-called “double cleansing”: first, the makeup is “melted” using facial oil (cream, milk or non-foaming gel), which is applied along massage lines and washed off with water.

Then a foam or special facial soap is used to remove any remaining cleansing product.

Makeup removal technique by Chizu Saeki

To remove makeup, Chizu Saeki suggests using a special technique. During cleansing, the most important thing is not to stretch the skin! Movements should be light, “like touching a feather.” The fingers are pressed tightly together to cover most of the surface being cleaned.

This method requires a creamy cleanser - milk, lotion or oil. This technique can be used 2 times a day, i.e. also in the morning if you cleanse your skin with milk or lotion.

Step 1. Warm a small amount of cleanser (the size of a 10 ruble coin) in your palms - this will enhance its cleansing properties.
Step 2. Apply it to 5 points on your face: both cheeks, forehead, nose, chin.
Step 3. Using the fingers of both hands, distribute the first portion of the product from the chin to the ears. When you reach your ears, gently press into the hollows behind your earlobes.
Step 4. Place your palms on either side of your nose and move them across your cheeks towards your ears.
Step 5. Run your fingers from the inner corners of your eyes to your temples.
Step 6. Smoothly move your hands from the tip of your nose to the bridge of your nose.
Step 7 Distribute the cleanser on your forehead: swipe from the middle of your forehead in both directions.
Step 8 Run your hands from the bridge of your nose to the tip of your nose.
Step 9 Gently brush the sides of your nose.
Step 10 Gently run your fingers up and down along the sides of your nose.
Step 11 Gently brush around the nostrils.
Step 12 Run your fingers from your nose to your mouth.
Step 13 Swipe up from the corners of your mouth.
Step 14 Clean your ears.
Step 15 Repeat steps 3 to 13 three times. Then wipe your face with a damp cotton cloth (if desired, you can use cotton pads or just wash your face).
