Children's masks to print. DIY carnival mask for children

How to make masks for the play Mukha-Tsokotukha.

You can celebrate the birthday by playing the play "Fly-Tsokotukha". For example, in the style of a skit - not to sew costumes, but to designate the heroes by putting on masks-caps on them.

Let's re-read the tale and figure out what characters we need.

Fly, Spider, Komarik - the main composition.

Auxiliary: cockroaches, grandmother-bee, fleas, beauty butterfly, grasshopper, horned beetles, ant with ant, as well as fireflies, centipedes, worm beetles, goats.

What is good about this fairy tale - despite the fact that there are three main characters, the crowd is huge and everyone present, wearing such a mask-cap, can feel like an actor and play a certain role. I usually make props from izolon (tourist rugs), but cardboard ones also look quite spectacular.

Masks - Fly and mosquito

Let's start with the wireframe. First, we will cut a flat strip 3 centimeters wide. The narrower ones will not be strong, the wider ones look cumbersome. Length - 85 cm (this is if the masks are intended for adults or adolescents). Ideally, masks should be made exactly to the measure of a particular performer of the role. But in life, a good isolon mask serves faithfully for years, and the actors change. Therefore, we take the average sizes.

With the help we glue the frame in this sequence. On the back of the head we make a cut, which will make it possible to slightly change the size.

Details of the mask Fly-tsokotukha

Cut out the face of the fly according to the pattern. The color is gray or pink (depending on whether you prefer the resemblance to insects or more human characters). I myself adhered to the stylized appearance of insects. Since Chukovsky wrote about insects, we will play around with their features. The eyes are made of green foil, it is better if it is a green holographic self-adhesive film. If you really want to, you can decorate your eyes long eyelashes and under long nose glue the lips with a bow. Six legs can be made just black, or you can wear gloves and shoes. For elegance, the hat frame can also be decorated with green or blue foil. We will make the wings from a transparent plastic film. I took a transparent cover for a school textbook - they are sold in stationery stores (I do not recommend using hard plastic, for example, from soda cans - the edges are sharp, and we do not need anyone to cut themselves in the hustle and bustle of the show). We put the veins on the wings with narrow strips of colored self-adhesive film. You can draw with a permanent marker, but ... it will not look very elegant. That's it - enough for a convincing image of a fly. If the soul really asks for a beauty and a coquette, there is an option to put on a tiny hat with a veil, but I myself did not - in my opinion, it was too much.

Spider Mask

The image of this character can be approached in two ways. Or treat him as a gloomy villain, then he will be all black and like a tarantula spider. Muscular hairy paws, a villainous muzzle: frowning eyebrows, bloody fangs ... The spider's frame was made of dark blue isolon. Long, multi-colored articulated legs in different-sized shoes, a blue face with eyes narrowed to the nose and a bared mouth - and that's enough - let's refrain from excessive brutality, because this is an old spiderman.

Mask Old Man Spider

We will make the rest of the insects on the basis of a standard hat frame. Ant with ant: black - shiny. (I describe the full-face ant mask here: http://nonsenspictures.ru/maska-muravya/)

Ant Mask

We will make the butterfly brighter and we will not be stingy with patterns.

Characters such as cockroaches can only be identified with a red color and mustache-wings and paws will, perhaps, be superfluous. For bugs, I can offer a pattern of wings, here it is important to make the correct darts and, of course, decorate with beautiful patterns.

In the store today you can buy any children's animal masks. But they are unlikely to be original. And the child is much more interested in dancing around the Christmas tree in a mask made with his own hands.

Masks for children do not have to be rigid and reusable. For one thematic matinee in kindergarten you can glue the simplest volumetric animal masks for children and educators. We only need a set of colored paper, glue, scissors, a pencil and a small piece of elastic.

A bear or fox mask is made in just an hour. Cut the muzzle out of the paper. Fold the workpiece in half for complete symmetry, mark the holes for the eyes and correct the outline. Straighten the edges.

The most important thing is to cut out with your own hands and glue the voluminous nose. Its drawing can be borrowed from the next section. After the wolf or fox mask is glued, color it in and sew an elastic band to attach it to the head.

A cardboard bear mask made according to the same scheme looks great.

Mask cap

This essential accessory carnival costume made of paper or cardboard does not cover the face, but is worn on the head in the form of a hat. This approach quickly and easily solves the problem of how to make a wolf or bear mask.

Before starting work, measure the circumference of the head and calculate the perimeter of the workpiece in the drawing. Based on the dimensions obtained, calculate the size of the cells.

For example, the circumference of your baby's head is 54 cm, and in the drawing of the wolf mask, it consists of 8x2 + 7x2 = 30 cells. This means that each cell should have a size of 54/30 = 1.8 cm. Now we draw a pattern by cells, based on our calculations.

Next, a blank is cut out and a wolf or bear mask is glued. You can paint the mask, but it is better to use colored paper... Such disposable baby hats-masks made of paper or cardboard are made with your own hands in one evening with your child.

Felt is a fertile material. It not only does not crumble, it is well processed, it is easily stitched. Felt masks touch the skin pleasantly, do not scratch the face of children and fit it perfectly. Such children's masks are cut out of felt according to paper patterns for any flat paper masks. For example, a paper hare mask can be successfully used for a felt pattern.

We need:

  • ruler.
  • pencil;
  • scissors;
  • glue;
  • the cloth;
  • thin synthetic winterizer or felt;
  • foam rubber;
  • cardboard;
  • We measure the distance between the pupils and, based on this size, draw a sketch of the future mask. We cut out a blank from cardboard, and then from foam rubber, gluing two materials together. From the side of the foam rubber we put on the fabric and, wrapping the edges, we glue it to the cardboard.

Let's create beautiful masks for children together. Such masks can easily be made by children in kindergarten and elementary school. You can also make them at home with your children.

With our step by step instructions You can make these bright, positive masks literally within half an hour.

Materials to create

  • Colored paper
  • Scissors
  • Paints

Fun carnival masks for children

So, let's begin. We draw a circle with a simple pencil on the child's hand on bright paper, folded in half, as shown at the beginning.

Draw and cut out, leaving room for the two sides to join. Draw holes for the eyes and cut out with scissors.

Let's roll up a separate piece of paper and make a pen so that you can hold the carnival mask. We glue this straw with PVA glue to the edge of the mask. We strengthen the gluing site with a small piece of paper. Just stick it on top. Let it dry well.

Be sure to stick a piece of thick paper on the mask in the area of the bridge of the nose, in this place the mask most often breaks. Next, we decorate the mask, draw eyelashes and rings on the mask with a marker. Cut out false nails from bright colored paper and glue them.

See how many variations of this mask you can make with your children! I think that the children themselves will offer several of their own, new versions of such a mask. Perhaps the girls will want to decorate them with rhinestones, sequins or beads. And the boys will want to make them, on the contrary, strict and decorate with cobwebs, like a spider-man. In general, I think that children can be given complete freedom of action in decorating a mask, especially since the materials for its creation are quite inexpensive.

Have you come up with a costume, a dress, a hairstyle and shoes, but the image still does not play with all the colors? Try to liven it up with an unusual accessory like a carnival mask! When else can you easily and naturally become a fairy or a butterfly, if not in new year's eve? Try it, you will like it!

I will tell you how to make a butterfly mask, and you can repeat the same mask or create an exclusive piece of art based on it. Be creative!

Materials: fabric for the front and back sides, cardboard, wire, narrow tape, decorative elements.
Instruments: scissors, transparent glue gel.
Time: 1,5 hour.

First, let's talk about materials. We need a piece of suitable fabric for the front side, a piece of dublerin for the wrong side (you can take any non-crumbling fabric and put it on glue). Cardboard for the base, waste paper for patterns. And some tape to make the ties (if your mask will be fastened in any other way, think about it in advance).

Now about the tools and auxiliary materials. Scissors, transparent glue gel. I used double-sided tape and a piece of masking tape for temporary fixation, but you can safely do without them. Wire and beads for antennae. And jewelry - here you can show the riot of your imagination in all its glory! You can use literally anything: beads, beads, rhinestones, sequins, paint and fabric pens ...

IMPORTANT! Before starting work, check how your fabric and glue will make friends. Glue a small piece of fabric to a small cardboard and wait until it dries completely. For example, I experimentally established that there should be a little glue, otherwise unappetizing spots remain from puddles.

You can also check the decorative items. I was going to use glitter gel pens, but on a test piece I saw that the result was not particularly impressive. Experiment!

Well, let's get started?

1. Important design elements of the mask are the location of the nose, eyes, and drawstring attachments.
Fold the sheet plain paper(maybe not even new at all) in half, try on to your face and cut out the nose and eyes where you think they belong. Expand, try again. Get upset and redo the pattern if necessary. Mark the position of the ties - above the ears, where the temples of the glasses would be.

2. We decided on the nose and eyes. Now draw the outline of the mask on the half of the pattern - let your muse roam.

3. Done, you can cut. If at this stage you are not happy with the shape of the mask, redo it, but leave the position of the nose-eyes in place. Yes, and don't lose the tie marks!

4. Now transfer the pattern to the cardboard. Do not throw away the paper pattern, it will still come in handy. And don't forget the tie marks!

5. Cut out the cardboard base and glue it to the fabric. If glue comes out at the edges, remove it and place the workpiece under a small press.

6. While the glue dries, let's design. On the pattern, draw your future image, think over which elements should be emphasized. Be creative!

7. Now the wrong side. Using the same pattern, we cut out the part from the dublerin, cutting off 2 mm more.
We will make antennae out of wire and beads - cut off the double length of the antennae, put a bead on the middle and twist the wire carefully. You do not need to twist to the end, these spreads will more reliably fix the finished mustache.

8. The glue is dry, you can cut it out. Leave a 5 mm allowance around the edges.

9. Now we very, very carefully cut off the corners of the wings, almost end-to-end ...

10. ... and cut the concave parts, also almost close to the cardboard.

11. The most boring interesting painstaking part. Tuck the edge and glue. Pay special attention to the corners.

12. Glue the antennae and strings. I use double-sided tape, you can also use glue.

13. And this point is optional, but possible. I glue the ends of the wire with a piece of masking tape so that they do not damage the lining fabric.

14. Apply the wrong side and glue it with a hot iron. First glue the ends of the wings and the bottom, and then the middle.

15. Now we will deal with the front side. I had planned for the gold and silver stripes, but in the process I decided that the silver would be superfluous.

16. Glue the rhinestones, twist the antennae - and the mask is ready. At the masquerade, you are irresistible!

On New Year's party it is customary in kindergarten to dress up children in different costumes. The images of forest animals, including the squirrel, have long been established. V recent times Parents buy costumes for children, but part of the outfit, for example, a mask, can be made at home with the child.

Squirrel mask "glasses"

In order to independently make a squirrel mask, which will be worn by children on the face, you will need:

  1. Colored cardboard or paper.
  2. Pencil.
  3. Scissors.
  4. Elastic.
  5. PVA glue.

The squirrel mask can be made of cardboard or paper. Which material to choose, everyone can decide individually based on how long such an attribute should last. After the material has been selected, you can get to work. Manufacturing takes place in several stages:

  1. On the seamy side of the paper or cardboard, you need to mark the lines of the future mask. It will consist of several pieces of white and orange. Below is a sample template for each of the colors.

Draw the following shapes on white paper:

And on the orange one, only one, it will serve as the basis:

The sizes depend on how old the child is, so everyone will choose them for themselves. The main thing to remember is that the mask should not be below the nose.

  1. Now, on the main part of the orange, you need to cut out the eye holes, and also make small holes at the edges. Both ends of the elastic are threaded through them and tied with a knot for securing. The size of the elastic can be measured by attaching it to the child's head from the earlobe to the earlobe through the back of the head and adding 5 cm.
  2. Next, the white part No. 1 must be glued to the orange base so as to close the holes into which the elastic is threaded. In this case, the ends of the latter should be extended by 2-3 cm. As a result, the mask will acquire fluffy cheeks.

  1. After that, you need to glue the decorative triangles on the ears and draw a nose with a black felt-tip pen or gouache.

The resulting squirrel mask will appeal to the child much more than the purchased one, since he made it on his own. Parents can additionally decorate their ears with crafts using fluffy brushes or in another way.

But children begin to go to kindergarten from the age of 2, and parents do not always have the opportunity to sit down with their child and help make an outfit. Then a faster one will do. easy way on assembling the mask with your own hands.

Squirrel mask "rim"

For the smallest children, a method is suitable in which nothing complicated is required, in addition to curly cutting, and its complexity depends on the efforts of the parents (then it will become clear why). The mask is a bezel, and the squirrel that is attached to it is a printed picture. For this method you need:

  1. White paper.
  2. Orange cardboard.
  3. Scissors.
  4. PVA glue.
  5. Paper clips.

It will take no more than five minutes to make such a mask:

  1. The role of gum in this case a cardboard rim will play.
  • To make it, it is necessary to cut off two strips 4 cm wide along the sheet.

  • After that, they need to be wrapped around the child's head and the circle should be fixed with paper clips.
  • The blank can be removed and the protruding end cut off so that there are 3-4 cm left to the staples.

  • Now you need to glue the ends of the rim and remove the staples.
  1. After the bezel is assembled, you can start searching for pictures via the Internet. Here, as they say, "the taste and color ...". There are many options. You can find both whole squirrels and their faces separately. If the mask is made with the child, then it is better to take a closer look at the options that will be easier to cut. For example, something like this:

  1. Now the found picture must be printed, and then glued to the rim.

The result is pretty good and simple mask squirrels. But masks made in this way are considered disposable.

Varieties of masks

There are also sophisticated versions of the rim mask. For example, for greater strength, the image of the squirrel before gluing with the rim can be additionally reinforced with a cardboard interlayer. A glue stick will help to glue them together, which will give a reliable adhesion and will not damage the printed image.

In addition to the pattern, you can also improve the design of the rim. It can be made slightly shorter than the girth of the child's head, and a wide elastic band can be sewn into the resulting gap. This will allow you to adjust the size of the bezel, which means such new year mask can be used more than once.
