Tools and materials for making a cockerel

For work you will need:

• two-sided colored paper,
• any glue,
• black gouache and brush,
• scissors.

How to make a cockerel: step by step description

Let's dream up a little with you and test ourselves as a designer in making crafts - a paper cockerel.

Step 1

First, let's work with the template. We need to cut out such a pentagonal blank from paper of any color according to the template (see photo below).

Step 2

Like any constructor, we must be able to use the tool. Our tool will be a ruler.

- Attach a ruler so that the corners are aligned along it: the top of the pentagon and the right corner at the base.

- Pressing the ruler firmly against the workpiece, raise its right corner up.

This is how it should turn out for you (see photo below).

Step 3

Similarly wrap up and the left corner of the pentagon.

Step 4 Cut and glue the details of the craft.

- The beak, paws and scallop of the cockerel can be made according to the template. But the children and I decided to express ourselves each in our own way and cut out these details without a template, but on our own, whoever can and who came up with how.

- A beard can be made in the shape of a heart and glued by turning it upside down.

- Glue the wrapped edges of the cockerel body blank together. Glue the scallop and paws to the workpiece.

- With the back of the brush, use gouache to put 2 dots - the eyes of a rooster.

And already the image of the cockerel appears!

Step 5

- Glue the beak (it is made in the form of a rhombus or can be flat, triangular in shape).

- Glue on the beard.

And now the mischievous cockerel is ready!

Step 6

If you want to hang the craft, then you need to thread the thread through the comb.

And you can make a bookmark from this craft. To do this, you need to cut a strip of paper and stick the resulting toy on it - a cockerel. Daryana and Vika wished to make bookmarks. Here's what happened to the kids.
