“Beautiful chapel, great service and beautiful photos. It couldn't be that our ceremony went more smoothly. Great experience. »brenna livingston - June 23rd, 2019

“We booked the Marry Me package a few months before our wedding and the service and staff at Little West Church were absolutely great the entire time. The wedding coordinators are customized and super professional. Our minister was perfect too! The church is so beautiful and we wouldn't change a thing. The photographer took great photos and videos and was not intrusive during the ceremony. Our carriers were punctual and orderly. When the time comes to renew our marriage vows, we will return to the Little Church. We really can't say enough good things about our wedding experience! Thank you so much for making our special day amazing and perfect. [Highly recommend]"Janette June 19th, 2019

Chapel wedding

If you want your wedding to be remembered for a lifetime, then you can make your dream come true in Las Vegas, because only Las Vegas - the city of expensive hotels, casinos, lights and vibrant nightlife - has everything you dream of. This city is truly considered the wedding capital of the world. Especially popular is the registration of marriage in the chapel. There are a huge number of them in Las Vegas and they are all good in their own way. A wedding in a Las Vegas chapel is a unique and unforgettable event that you will remember for a lifetime. It was in Las Vegas that many world celebrities joined the bonds of legal marriage. In particular, the wedding ceremony of the famous singer and composer Vladimir Presnyakov and singer Natalia Podolskaya took place in the Graceland Chapel. If you wish, you can choose any of the chapels you like, they are all delightful and magnificent.

The most popular and most beautiful chapel in Las Vegas is the Elvis Chapel, also known as Chapel No. 1.

The chapel is located in the very center of the city. It is also called the home of Elvis, because. it was in this chapel that the famous singer and musician got married. This wedding chapel was chosen by Jon Bon Jovi, Lerenzo Lamas and Billy Ray Cyr for their weddings. The chapel is a traditional white church built in 1917 with a pretty blue roof, amazing mother-of-pearl stained glass windows, high stone vaults, antique oak pews and Burgundy carpeting. The walls of the chapel, as well as its atmosphere, are fraught with many mysterious and unusual. Having been there at least a little, you get a charge of vivacity and an extraordinary surge of strength and positive emotions, as if Elvis Presley himself from the depths of time conveys all this to you. The chapel accommodates a total of thirty people and has one dressing room.

When it comes to history in Las Vegas, things get tricky because the city is too dynamic and changes too quickly. The hotels where Frank Sinatra and other members of the Rat Pack sang, where Elvis Presley and Priscilla joined the knot, have long been razed to the ground and modern skyscrapers flaunt in their place. So, in this city, the history of more than 50 years is already attractive, especially if this is not the only thing Graceland Chapel can surprise you with.

The chapel is called Elvis Presley's mansion for a reason, because within its walls Elvis' doppelgänger still holds wedding ceremonies for everyone. Over the long history of its existence, the Graceland Chapel has “married” many famous personalities, including Bon Jovi, musicians from the legendary bands KISS and Deep Purple, as well as Russian pop stars Vladimir Presnyakov and Natalia Podolskaya.

On his wedding day in 2001, Jon Bon Jovi held an impromptu concert in the parking lot next to the chapel.

As you may have guessed, the chapel can host a ceremony hosted by Elvis Presley, as well as a wedding in a classic style.

The chapel took part in the filming of the film "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" with Johnny Depp in the title role.

Little White Chapel is one of the most famous venues in the United States for weddings and renewal ceremonies. The image of this chapel has repeatedly appeared on the TV screen, for example, in the series "Friends", and a few years ago the ceremony hall was equipped with cameras, thanks to which, the wedding ceremony is broadcast on the Internet and your friends and relatives who cannot be with you nearby during the ceremony, will be able to attend it virtually.

The chapel opened in 1951 and now the number of couples who have tied the knot has exceeded 800,000.

The Little White Chapel has been chosen by celebrity couples for their celebrations, including Paul Newman and Joanna Woodward, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. and many others.

The chapel is also famous for its "Tunnel of Love", through which you can drive a car, admiring the painted ceiling.

The Little Church of the West is an elegant and romantic chapel with a rich history by American standards, also attractive for its location between Mandalay Bay and the famous “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign!

The Little Church of the West has been counting its history since 1942, and during this time the chapel has repeatedly become an arena for celebrity weddings: Cindy Crawford and Richard Gere, Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton tied the knot here ... and the heroes of Ann-Margaret and Elvis Presley from Viva Las Vegas.

The chapel moved from place to place three times until it settled in its current location in 1996. Recently celebrating its 70th anniversary, the chapel is meticulously looking after its exterior and interior decoration, which consists of California mahogany and Victorian-style chandeliers. The chapel has been named the best in Las Vegas 17 times!

If you want your wedding abroad to take place not only in a different geographical space, but also in time, then choose the Doo Wop Diner chapel, which carefully recreates the atmosphere of a diner of the 50s, as the venue for your ceremony in Las Vegas, and register your marriage there will be a double of the King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley ...

That's why he is the king, to break all the established wedding traditions and, for example, sing, and make you dance right during the ceremony! If you think your wedding is the perfect time to goof off and have some fun, then Las Vegas provides you with plenty of opportunities to do just that.

During your ceremony, you will receive your “moment of glory” as all ceremonies in the Doo Wop Diner Chapel are broadcast on the Internet, i.e. you have the opportunity to virtually invite your friends abroad to your wedding, plus your names and surnames will appear on a large scoreboard installed above the chapel.

If you are bikers, then we have something to offer you - a wedding ceremony in the chapel of the Harley-Davidson restaurant, the interiors of which are decorated with motorcycles and other biker paraphernalia (One of the relics of the bar is a bike that Elvis himself rode!).

The venue for the ceremony looks quite brutal.

You pull me to the seventh heaven... The most unusual chapel with a stunning view of the city.

The modern interiors of the chapel, made in muted colors, allow you to organize a ceremony in both a classic style and a thematic one.

The chapel accommodates up to 90 guests. The hotel can also organize a banquet in the restaurant with panoramic city views.

After the wedding ceremony, we recommend going to a photo session in Las Vegas. Below we offer the most interesting locations for a photo session:
  • Red Rocks State Park - surcharge to the cost of the package 3,623 rubles (55 usd) (it takes 35 minutes to get to the place);
  • Death Valley (45 minutes to get to the place);
  • Museum Neon Museum (Boneyard Park) - surcharge to the cost of 22,066 rubles (335 usd) (obtaining permission from the museum to shoot), get to the museum 20 minutes;
  • Nelson ghost town - surcharge to the cost of 5,928 rubles (90 usd), it takes about an hour to get there.
  • Grand Canyon (by helicopter) - an additional flight for yourself and for the photographer, on request, depending on the selected tour.

One of the reasons we chose to visit Las Vegas is its famous reputation as the "Wedding Capital of the World".

After a series of weddings with friends - quite different in form and cost, but, in principle, the same in essence, we finally realized for ourselves that the ceremonies in the classic format according to the program "registry office -> photo session at the Bronze Horseman -> restaurant with toastmaster -> cries of half-drunk guests "something has become too sweet ..." we will not have it for sure.

But to arrange a small holiday for ourselves, and at the same time combine it with a trip - this is what we need. A wedding in Las Vegas turned out to be an original and suitable option for us - beautiful, unusual, interesting, and at the same time there is very little paperwork to make this marriage legal in Russia.

Our first step in Las Vegas was to pick up the car we had booked with the popular American rental company Dollar. Having tried to get to it by bus and again forgetting that you need to have small bills (as it already happened in) - this time we failed.

Throwing a little more than a dollar into the machine at the entrance, they found that there were no more coins in the wallet, none of the passengers wanted to exchange money, the driver was waiting for full payment, the machine did not return the money, did not give change. And okay with the change, but the device is not programmed to accept bills larger than $ 1, the driver did not want to go further and soon some passengers began to make noise that they were late for work, so I had to retreat and catch a taxi, as time was running out, and the next the bus was expected only in half an hour.

The rental company filled out the documents (by the way, they asked for international driving license here for the first time, so they didn’t do it in vain) and the employee, pointing to the parking lot, offered to choose a car. We ordered a convertible and there were 5 Mustangs in front of us in different colors, so our eyes ran wide. After a little thought, we opted for red - it looked very impressive.

The keys are in the ignition - and here is this handsome man for the next 18 days: almost new, 2010 red convertible Ford Mustang at our disposal. We threw back the roof, and in anticipation headed towards the exit from the parking lot, although near the barrier we were returned to the ground a little - "Sir, it" s rain outside ", and it was true that it was pouring like a bucket on the street, the roof temporarily had to be closed.

In order to fully experience the wedding atmosphere, we decided to please ourselves with gifts and stopped by Apple Store. The first thing that struck me was the number of people in the store, as if it were not an expensive electronics store, but a market - everyone scurrying back and forth, feeling the equipment, twirling it in their hands.

The second interesting point is the iPad "s, which are used here as ... price tags. There is a macbook, next to it is an iPad, on which the price and detailed information are displayed. Okay, macbooks and aimaks, but on the iPad it is also attached to iPhones and even for iPods.

Well, the final touch was the mega iPhone, which all consultants are equipped with - first, the seller checked the availability of goods on it, then scanned the barcode from the box brought, and then also passed a credit card through the same miracle device.

We bought apple technology and happy went to get ready for the wedding.
First of all, we stopped by the local court Clark County, for the purpose of obtaining a (marriage permit). The office was not crowded, only a few couples also applied. We filled out the questionnaires, gave them to the employee, paid the fee of $60 and immediately received the necessary paper

Then we proceeded to the next preparatory part - finding a place for the ceremony. It can be carried out almost anywhere, up to the call minister(as the one who conducts the ceremony is called) to a hotel room, but in most cases they are held in small chapels called Chapel(the ceremony, at the same time, can be absolutely civil and have nothing to do with religion).

We walked through several churches, finding out prices and inspecting the interior. Most establishments of this kind mainly offer services in packages, which include many components that we do not need: delivery from the hotel by limousine, stand for a wedding certificate, printouts of photos, and so on.

After a long search, we finally decided to opt for the famous, rather cozy and pretty church, where many celebrities got married (Frank Sinatra, Bruce Willis, Britney Spears, Pamella Anderson, etc.). Also, in one of the episodes, fans of the series Friends could see her - the wedding of Ross and Rachel was filmed there 🙂
The time for the ceremony was chosen in the evening, closer to the night Las Vegas blooms - millions of lights are everywhere: in hotels, restaurants, on the streets, and the illuminated Little White Chapel also looks very attractive.

We refused a wedding limousine, having decided that our Mustang would be much better suited for these purposes, so at the appointed time we drove up to the chapel on our own.

We completed the necessary documents, officially paid the due amount to the cashier (registration, 16 photos and flowers cost us $160). In addition, we were warned in advance that the minister would need to be tipped (they do not receive a salary, but work exclusively for such "voluntary donations").

After that, we were introduced to this same minister. Anthony told us about the procedure, asked what denomination we belong to or if we need to carry out a non-church procedure, and also clarified whether we want to take an oath or just answer questions.
We preferred the second option - we did not dare to repeat the oath in English))

After that, he gave us an envelope in which, after the end of the ceremony, we had to put a tip. In words, it was said that we can give as much as we consider necessary, but the options $ 40-60-80 are immediately written on the envelope, i.e. although there is a choice, but it is very limited =) However, we were warned about this, so it was not a surprise for us.

There are several wedding venues in Little White Chapel:

  • one of the halls inside the chapel;
  • gazebo outside (Gazebo);
  • car tunnel (Tunnel of Love Drive Thru).

We chose a gazebo - it seemed to us the most comfortable.

The minister and the photographer explained where we would need to stand, where the bride should come from and what the groom should do at that moment, as well as that they would be our witnesses. Before the start of the ceremony, we were asked to prepare the partner's rings - for the bride to put the groom's ring on the thumb, and for the groom the bride's ring on the little finger.

After that, the ceremony began - the minister spoke his speech, occasionally asked questions, to which we diligently answered "yes"

then offered to exchange rings

and congratulated us, declaring, in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada, husband and wife

The whole ceremony lasted about 10 minutes, during which the photographer took a few photos and then took some more pictures of us near the chapel. With a photo shoot here, of course, it’s a complete fiction - although it’s called a wedding, the photos are given out immediately, without any processing, and the photographer refused us the request to record not jpeg, but RAW, referring to the rules prohibiting this. At the same time, she kindly offered to take pictures in parallel with 2 cameras - hers and ours.

In addition to the "features" of photography, it turned out that photos are recorded on CD. We asked to put them on a USB flash drive, but strange rules did not allow us to do that either. After the photo session, the story of tips was repeated - another 20 fell into the photographer's envelope, such a simple way to "optimize taxation" - employees are paid directly from customers, in the form of tips.

After the ceremony, we took a few more pictures in interesting places

Then we stopped at a restaurant to celebrate the change of status in a cozy and romantic atmosphere.

Already late in the evening we returned to our wonderful room, it is worth mentioning about it separately. In connection with the wedding, we decided not to save much on accommodation and booked ourselves a huge suite at the luxurious Planet Hollywood Towers hotel.

The room exceeded our wildest expectations:
70 sq. m, panoramic windows from floor to ceiling;
view of Las Vegas - right from the room you could watch the famous singing fountains of the Belagio Hotel and the Eiffel Tower of the Paris Hotel

Separate bedroom with king-size bed and Jacuzzi;
kitchen with a huge refrigerator and microwave;
dishwasher and washing machine;
two sinks in the bathroom, black toilet;
ten towels of different sizes for each;
red leather sofa in the living room

3 plasma panels (in the room, in the bedroom, in the kitchen) and another small one in the bathroom - we really never used any of them;
pulling down blinds in the room, turning into a projector screen - a mini-cinema in the room.

And the most interesting thing is that all this pleasure cost us $ 130 per night (we booked a room for three days) - quite humane money for such luxury. True, they earn at the hotel, of course, on each additional gesture - the Internet is another $ 10 per day, in order for the room to be several floors higher, the same amount - as a result, we took a room on the 55th floor out of 56 each possible.

This is how our wedding day went. In more detail, how to organize a wedding ceremony in Las Vegas step by step, we described in the article.
