Mk weaving orchids. Beaded orchid master class and weaving pattern. Orchid mosaic weaving pattern

Thinking of learning how to weave with beads but don't know where to start? It is desirable from something simple. For example, with flowers. They can be used as room decor or decoration. Below you will find a pattern for weaving an orchid from beads.

We prepare materials

In order to make a flower, of course, you need beads. Moreover, it is advisable to use high-quality material. What's the difference? There are a lot of defects in cheap beads, that is, half of the bag will have to be thrown away. High-quality material will retain its attractive appearance for many years. But small cheap beads will quickly fade, tarnish and may even change their color, for example, from water.

We will make an orchid on a wire. Why not on the line? The wire bends well, and due to this, it will be easy to give the finished product any shape. But the fishing line does not possess such properties.

You will need wire cutters to cut the pieces of wire you want. It is better not to use scissors for this purpose, because they can be easily blunt.

To make an orchid from beads, a weaving pattern, of course, will be needed. It must be printed out and kept in front of your eyes at all times. This will make your work easier and help you avoid many mistakes.

Making a flower

The pattern of weaving an orchid from beads is given above. It is on her that we will be guided in the process of work. We start the creative process by making petals. First, we make 5 large blanks, and then 3 small ones. Let's start. We put 36 beads on the wire, divide this number in half, pass the end of the wire through the central bead. You should get an oval. Now we put on 18 more beads on the working end of the wire and thread our working "thread" through the lower part of the workpiece. Now you should put on 22 beads and fix them on top, then 22 beads are fixed at the bottom. This creates a petal of the desired size. We make 5 large blanks according to this scheme, and then we start making small ones. In our beaded orchid weaving pattern for beginners, detailed instructions are given. We put a bead on the wire and fix it in the middle, threading the ends of the working "threads" crosswise. Now you should put on 2 beads, fix them with a wire crosswise. The next row - 3 beads, then again 3. Now, in the reverse order, we make a narrowing. We make 4 petals in the same way.

Making leaves

This part is made according to the same pattern of weaving an orchid from beads, which was given above. Only in this case, you need to lay not a cone-like sheet shape, but a round one. The finished product should look like a long oval. Some needlewomen do not adhere to realism and make leaves in the same way as petals. Thus, the details differ from each other solely in color. But it’s better not to do that. Unless, of course, the needlewoman is not faced with the task of saving on beads.

Collecting an orchid

When all the parts are ready, you can start connecting them. The beaded orchid weaving pattern can be set aside, it is no longer needed. The first step is to prepare the blanks for work. To do this, two wires of each of the parts must be twisted into a bundle. Now we collect the middle of the orchid. We twist the wires of small petals together, and then add large details there. If it seems to you that the resulting stick looks unreliable, and this may well be if the wire was thin, then you need to strengthen the frame with a wooden skewer. We wrap a wire around it, and then decorate the stem with green threads. Now you should "plant" the flowers in a pot and attach the leaves to the base of the stems. You can decorate the craft with twigs or artificial butterflies.

Good day!

Today I want to show you how you can weave an orchid out of beads. Such an orchid is easy to make, while the cost of making it is minimal. And as a gift or home decoration - it is simply excellent.

By the way, in the last master class, I already showed how you can weave wisteria from beads. This MK can be viewed

Since there are a lot of photos, I divided the master class into two parts. The second part can be viewed here.

Beaded orchid

For work we need:

In order to make this delicate beaded orchid you need:

  • beads (light and dark green, white, yellow);
  • white beads;
  • wire (diameter depends on the size of the beads);
  • green threads;
  • fishing line;
  • salted modeling dough;
  • gypsum;
  • cotton wool;
  • pliers.

Weavingcolors

To create an orchid from beads, the French weaving technique was used. The step-by-step photos of the master class clearly show what it is.

Weavingextreme pointed petals

To weave the extreme pointed petals of an orchid from beads, two pieces of wire of different lengths are interconnected at one end. The wire should be of such a diameter that beads can be easily strung on it. The shorter segment is the axis around which the beaded rows are woven.

Colored beads alternate in the sequence shown in the photo. The number of beads depends on the size of the orchid flower and its color. If the beads are not perfectly even, then the number of beads of different colors is determined during weaving.

The twist angle must be made sharp - the final shape of the petals depends on it. The number of rows around the axis is 2. The wire is wound over the axis. Care must be taken to keep the axle wire as less visible from the front. One orchid needs 3 pointed petals.

Weavingrounded petals

Rounded orchid petals from beads are woven similarly to pointed ones, the only difference is that the twist angle is 90 degrees. One flower needs 2 similar petals.

Weavingcore petal

The core petal is also woven using the French weaving technique, but the third and fourth rows are woven to the middle of the second row from the axis. The wire at the base of the axle is led out between the rows. The fifth and sixth rows are braided to the top of the previous rows, closer to the twist in the middle of the second row. The twist angle is 90 degrees. One flower requires one core petal.

Weavingorchid leaves

For orchid leaves, the number of beads per axis is 1.5-2 times more than for petals. Its length depends on the number of beads on the axis of the sheet. The twist angle is 90 degrees. It is necessary to make 2 long leaves and two short ones. Choose the length of the leaves based on the size of the flower.

Weavingorchid buds

Orchid buds are woven from one rounded petal that folds in half twice. You need to make 2 buds.

Assemblyorchid flower

We have got such blanks for an orchid.

Before assembling the flower, all the petals must be bent, giving them their natural shape.

After that, you need to weave a core of beads. You will need a thin fishing line and 2 beads of different diameters. The red arrows in the photo show the direction of the wire during the weaving process.

The core is fixed at the base of the petal joint. The wire is pushed from top to bottom, after which it is removed from the inside out between the large beads and wound back, pressing the fishing line with beads to the core petal.

The ends of the line are tied in a knot from the seamy side. After that, pointed petals are attached to the flower. And the wire on the reverse side is smeared with a clerical stroke - so the flowers will look more neat.

Orchid flowers are fixed on a wire of larger diameter. The base of the orchid is twisted into a ring.

Orchid made of beads - weaving pattern

We have woven the orchid itself from beads. It remains to make a stand for our flower and "plant" it there. And how to make a stand, see.

Friends, if my master class was useful to you, share it with your friends!

The orchid rightfully takes the place of a favorite of almost all flower growers. This is not surprising: with minimal care in the form of correctly selected light and ordinary watering, the plant pleases as much as possible with extraordinary exotic bright flowers and flowering duration. Unfortunately, no matter what positive characteristics this representative of the flora has, it is not possible to preserve its appearance throughout the year. And so I would like to admire him constantly! An alternative solution to this issue will be a beaded orchid.

You can buy a ready-made beauty in gift shops, but it is much more pleasant to make it yourself. There are many different ways to make this flower. We suggest considering the most popular weaving patterns.

Weaving a flower for dummies

For experienced beadworkers, it will not be difficult to bring to life almost any idea that imagination only prompts. It is more difficult for beginners - they still do not have much experience and practice. At the same time, there is a desire to surprise others with their creations.

The master class below is accessible and simply explains the process of weaving an orchid from beads. Thanks to him, even inexperienced needlewomen will be able to make a beautiful flower with their own hands without outside help.

For work you will need:

  1. Beads of pistachio, bottle, milk and straw colors;
  2. Large pearl beads;
  3. Green yarn;
  4. Wire;
  5. Fishing line;
  6. Pliers;
  7. Gypsum;
  8. Salt and starch dough to strengthen the product in a flower pot;
  9. Cotton wool.

A flower arrangement can be made up of a different number of opened flowers and buds. It depends on the individual desire and idea.

The buds of the opened orchid flower are made using the French beading technique. For beginners, it will not be difficult to master it, it is so simple in its execution.

First, the extreme pointed petals are made. For this, a frame is made from two pieces of wire. A short piece of wire is the base. Rows of beads will form around it. The beads are strung on it in the order shown in the image.

For one bud, you need to weave three of these petals.

We observe the alternation of the colors of the beads as in the picture.

You need to weave two of these leaves.

We make a curly petal for the core. Weaving begins in the same way as in the two previous examples. Starting from the fifth row, we form an additional arc on the sides.

All the details for the bud are ready. Let's move on to making orchid leaves. They will be in two sizes - short and long.

For long beads on the axis, you need to collect twice as many beads than was collected for the petals. The workpieces are tinkered in the same way as the petals, as can be seen from the photo.

Finally, an unopened orchid bud is made from a rounded petal. To do this, fold it in half and roll it up into a tube. We give a realistic shape to the bud. We make several of these parts.

After all the components are ready, we begin to assemble the product.

First, we make bends on all the details, making them look like a real flower.

After that, from two round petals, we make a base for an opened bud. To do this, we fasten them together using threads. We attach the core to them in the same way.

To make it look like a natural original, we make out the middle of the flower from beads.

It is better to take matte beads of a milky shade, which differ slightly in diameter. They will look more natural than matching pearlescent jewelry.

After that, pointed petals are fixed on the craft. The whole structure is reinforced with threads and thin wire.

The beaded orchid, charming in its tenderness, is ready. It will remain only with the help of plaster and salt dough to fix it in a beautiful planter. This craft will take its rightful place in any interior.

For those needlewomen who have been beading for a long time, it will not be difficult to make more complex versions of this beauty.

Hello everyone, I decided to create a Master class on weaving Phalaenopsis Orchids.

I really love orchids, I have two live Phalaenopsis orchids (white and pink) at home, so I decided to create a beaded copy of my white beauty.

This is such a beautiful orchid we will make

And so for work we need

.Czech white beads No. 10 - 50 gr,

.Czech raspberry beads No. 10 - 20 gr,

copper wire 0.3 mm,

3 beads

let's get started, first let's see what an orchid flower looks like when disassembled

and so for weaving an orchid flower we will need to weave

3 pointed petals, with a central An axis of 8 beads and 8 arcs,

2 semicircular large petals, with a central Axis 3 beads and 12 arcs,

the central tongue consists of 2 small petals with Axis 4 beads and 4 arcs, and a triangular petal with antennae, with Axis 3 beads and 8 arcs.

this is how it looks

now everything is in order, let's figure out what it is axis and arcs

we take a piece of wire 50 cm and make just such a basic loop for weaving a petal

I marked on the photo Axis, this piece of wire will be in the very center of our petal and from the number of beads strung on Axis what size the petal will be depends on. In our case Axis of 8 beads, string the beads, and at the end we make a loop

now what is arc, in the photo on the right is a piece of wire, it is longer than Axis, and it is on this segment that we will string the rest of the beads. Arc-this is a cut with beads to the intersection with a half Axles

the photo shows one arc, now we need to fix it on Axles, for this we make a loop around Axles

since we have a pointed petal, the wire must be bent downward

we attach the second arc in the same way from below Axles, but in the direction to the side, since the bottom of the petal is round.

For a pointed leaf, the wire is lowered downward, and for a round one to the side.

now doing 8 arcs, four on each side

look to Axis has always been straight, otherwise the petal will be crooked

this is the wrong side of the petal, the remainder Axles cut and bend from the seamy side

we also make 2 such petals.

Now you need to make 2 semicircular large petals, for this we type for Axes 3 beads and make 12 arcs, 6 on each side. Remember to pay attention to the direction of the wire when attaching to the Axle.

wrong side

now we need to weave 2 small pointed petals from the central An axis of 4 beads and 4 arcs

Then we make the last central petal, with the central Axis 3 beads and 8 arcs.

There are two peculiarities in the weaving of this petal, since we have it slightly triangular, we do it as usual, but after each attachment to the Axis we insert one bead

after weaved 6 arcs, 3 on each side, we will make the petal a triangular shape, for this we string 9 beads and pass the wire through 8 beads in the opposite direction

after that we string the remaining beads and fasten at the intersection with Axis Then we do the same downward, that is, collect 17 beads, pass the wire through one bead, collect the required number of beads and attach to the Axis.

now the final touch, we will attach the antennae, for this from above Axles from the inside, we attach a piece of wire bent in half

string 16 beads for each segment and fasten them by threading the wire into the beads downward

twist our antennae

Now let's start assembling our orchid.

take our smallest petals and attach them to the central petal

take the two largest petals and twist them together

then we take the central collected petal and fasten it to the large petals

well, drum roll))) we take 3 pointed petals, first we fasten two lower ones, and then 2 upper ones

take a bead, thread a wire into it and set it between small petals

So my master class has come to an end, I hope it was useful to you.

Here is such a "dendrobium-phalaenopsis" blooming with me, I saw this color of beads - and could not resist not to buy, then I found a photo of the flower of the inspirer and, looking for a long time at the works of girls and a living flower, - weaved the same .... a photo of a real flower, of course, you cannot convey all the transitions of shades with beads ... But I tried !!! Thank you all for your attention and inspiration !!!

Making a flower

1. The flower consists of three elongated petals, two wide petals and a “lip”.

For elongated petals, string twelve beads - this is the central frame (fig. 8, 9). We braid twelve rows around in a circular technique - this is the top and bottom of the petal. For one flower, you need to make three such petals.

2. For wide petals, string three beads - the central frame, around fourteen rows, the top is rounded, the bottom is pointed (Fig. 8, 9). For one flower, you need to make two such petals.

On all five petals, from the base to the middle, make specks of dark red beads, symmetrically alternating three white beads and one dark red.

3. "Lip" consists of five parts: three petals and two tubes.

3.1. Two petals are the same, made of pink beads. Central row - four beads, around eight rows. The top and bottom are rounded. In the upper part, before the penultimate and last rows, string one bead on the central wire.

3.2. The lower petal of the “Lips” is also made of pink beads. Central row - six beads, around ten rows. To extend the petal, add two beads to the central wire in front of the penultimate and last rows, as in the previous paragraph. We make the central row and six subsequent ones in a speck, alternating two pink and one dark red beads.

3.3. For the bottom tube, string twelve dark red beads, make four rows around, connect the lower and upper wires, twist.

3.4. We make the upper tube in parallel weaving: seven rows of seven beads, we connect into a tube.

We connect in the following sequence: three elongated petals, two wide petals, three pink “lips” petals, two tubes. We twist all the wires and wrap them with light green threads by six to seven centimeters.

Making leaves

Since the leaves are large and very heavy, it is better to weave them using parallel weaving (Fig. 10a, b).

In total, you need to make five to six leaves. Each leaf consists of two parts, in the center there is a strip of two dark green beads. The first row is made of five beads. In each next row, add two beads until there are twenty beads. Twenty beads - middle. From the middle, we begin to subtract in the same order as we added. Using the scheme in Figure 106, we braid the second symmetrical first half of the sheet. We connect the leg of the sheet to the rod and wrap it with green threads by six to seven centimeters.

Assembling the whole orchid

There can be three to seven flowers on a peduncle. Attach the flowers with the already wrapped legs to the rod three to four centimeters apart.

Wrap the rod with the attached flowers with dark green threads.

Place plaster, soaked to the state of plasticine, in a flower pot or vase. Stick in the center - a peduncle, arrange the leaves around. Let the plaster harden. Tilt the stem of the peduncle slightly at the top, straighten the petals and leaves. Give your orchid a natural look.

Step-by-step master class "Orchid Bead" orchids from beads.

I love orchids very much, this is one of the most important reasons why I decided to have this cute flower at home.

To begin with, it was necessary to choose a color, type and variety from hundreds of varieties. And finally, I decided, I really liked a sprig of pink orchid with round petals, but I didn't find such a bead, but there was a lot of soft orange, and then I had to combine pink and orange orchids to weave something alternative.

Detailed and visual description of the work

Necessary materials:

Orange seed beads # 10
- brown beads # 10
- yellow seed beads # 10
- yellow seed beads No. 6
- copper wire 0.3 mm

We start to weave petal using the technique of French weaving flowers. Cut a wire about 50 cm long. Make a small loop on one end, cast on 4 beads and twist a large loop on the other side as shown in the photo.

Weave a petal, collect so many beads so that they fit snugly to the first row and do not create unnecessary space. Make three arcs on each side. With the center row in mind, you should have 7 arcs. See the photo below, on the petal you can clearly see how many rows and it is easy to count.

When the petal is ready, wind the end of the wire around the loop several times.
It's time to wire the wire. First unwind the small loop, straighten the wire (see photo below). Twist the bottom large loop to get a leg. Unfold the petal with the wrong side towards you, bend the top wire and place it in the center row of the petal, and cut the end off. This is how you got a neat petal!

For one flower you need to weave 5 identical petals, 1 stamen with a large yellow bead, a stamen with two small yellow beads and central small petals of brown beads. Two sides consist of two arcs and a central row of 8 beads, and the central petal of four arcs (2 on both sides), and the central row of 6 beads.

To collect the flower, first twist the middle of the flower together, then twist the five petals together and insert the middle into the center and tightly wrap these parts with additional wire, forming one flower leg. Weave a total of 5 orchid flowers to create a composition.

2. Orchid flower bud

For this bud you will need:

Orange seed beads # 10
- round bead 6 mm yellow or the color of the beads
- copper wire 0.3 mm

Weave the bud with the same French weave as the petals before, but with a little trick! We twist the wire, collect 3 beads, make one arc on each side.

Now comes the most important thing! So that you get a cup, and not a flat petal, you need to make the subsequent arcs on a bead shorter and tighten tightly. The bead will have nowhere to go and it will bend, creating the necessary convex shape.

One half of the bud consists of 6 arcs and 1 central row. Weave a second one like this, twist their legs together, insert a bead and sew a bud with wire. I needed 4 such buds.

To weave a sheet, you need to take:

Green seed beads # 10 or # 8
- wire 0.5 mm or 0.6 mm
- green wire 0.3 mm

For weaving long and rather large orchid leaves, I took a much thicker wire so that it could keep the shape of the leaf under the weight of the beads. I needed a piece of wire that was at least one meter long !!! I have woven three sheets 11cm, 13cm and 15cm long. The central row was 9cm for the first, 11cm for the second and 13cm for the third. Each sheet consists of 6 arcs, 3 on each side and plus a central row.

To prevent the sheet from disintegrating, it must be stitched. In the photo above, you can see that the seam goes in two places, it is almost invisible because I used green wire. I hid the ends in the nearest beads, and cut off the excess.

4. Assembling and planting orchids

Necessary materials:

Wire 1mm in diameter
- brown thread
- gypsum
- water
- pot
- newspaper
- watercolor paints
- a little earth

We take a thick wire and attach the buds and orchid flowers to it with additional wire. To hide the wire, wrap the trunk with brown floss, the same way with the second branch of the orchid.

Now line the sides of the pot with crumpled newspaper to avoid cracking. Dissolve gypsum with water, achieve the consistency of sour cream and pour it into a pot. While the plaster has not set, stick the flower and leaves, hold them a little while the plaster hardens. If you did everything correctly, then in 15 minutes you can already decorate the surface of the plaster. I took a dark brown watercolor paint and painted it with white plaster. Sprinkled a little earth on top.

Since the orchid flowers are quite heavy, you can prop them up with a stick or make a support with thick wire.

Finally everything! Your orchid is ready to decorate your home and delight everyone around you. I wish you a pleasant handicraft and your own ideas!
