Is it possible to sleep on a tattoo. How to care for a tattoo in the first days after application. Proper tattoo care

Many, having decided to get a tattoo, do not attach due importance to the preparation for the procedure, as well as the period of healing and recovery. Meanwhile, caring for a tattoo is just as important a task as applying a high-quality drawing for a master. Your health will depend on how conscientiously you take care of the tattoo.

Process tattoo care begins even before it is applied... Proper preparation for the procedure will ensure comfortable work for the master and the client's well-being. Here are a few rules to follow before visiting a tattoo artist:

  • drink plenty of fluids the day before the proposed surgery to stay hydrated and moisturized;
  • 24 hours before the procedure, do not use blood thinners, as well as alcohol;
  • if a large drawing is to be applied, then it is better to eat before the session;
  • choose comfortable clothes;
  • remove hair and moisturize the area of the body where you plan to apply the drawing.

Compliance with these simple rules will make the procedure itself easier and more enjoyable, and the process of recovery and healing will be faster.

IMPORTANT! All drawings on the body must be applied by qualified craftsmen in equipped offices. It must be clean and the instrument must be sterile. In addition, the tattoo artist must be a professional with. If you decide to save money and do the procedure “at a friend’s apartment,” then neither proper preparation nor high-quality care for the tattoo after application will ensure safety for your health.

Rules for caring for a tattoo in the first hours after application

So, you nevertheless decided to get a tattoo and even bravely endured several hours of the master's work in the office. The further development of events already depends solely on you, your organization and commitment. Of course, this is in the event that the master did his job efficiently. So that all the work does not go down the drain, but new drawing did not cause discomfort and painful sensations, it is important to know how to care for the tattoo after application.

There are the main stages of tattoo healing:

  • tattoo care in the first days - 24-48 hours;
  • skin treatment in the first two to three weeks;
  • taking care of the drawing on the body all the subsequent time.

Each of these stages has its own method of tattoo care and plays important role in the process of complete healing.

The first stage involves taking care of the damaged area of the body in the first two days. The skin is considered exactly damaged, since the master's needle has an irritating effect on the upper layer of the skin, causing micro-wounds and cuts. Immediately after completing his work, the master will apply a bandage to the place where the drawing is applied. Of course, he will tell you what to do gently at first, so that the feeling of discomfort passes faster and the place of the drawing heals as soon as possible.

Depending on the place where the pattern is applied, its size and the characteristics of your body the bandage will need to be removed after a certain time. Talk to your tattoo artist about when to expose the sore skin. If the bandage is applied from a tight bandage, then it can be left for a day. Due to the fact that thick non-stick bandages allow the area of the skin to breathe, its recovery will take place much faster.

If the master has applied a bandage of thin bandages that are quickly soaked, then it must be removed after 2-3 hours. If you delay with this moment, the wet bandages can dry out and stick to the body, making the subsequent removal of the bandage painful and traumatic. Therefore, caring for a tattoo in the first days is very important, since your well-being in the future will depend on it.

Decontaminate your hands before removing the bandages:

  • wash your hands well with soap;
  • disinfect them with a special solution or alcohol;
  • dry thoroughly.

If the dressing is still stuck to the skin, gently moisten it with water, let it soak and carefully remove it from the area where the pattern is applied. Of course, it is better if someone else is with you. Ideally, this can be a person who knows a lot about caring for a fresh tattoo, but you can just invite a friend who will support you in difficult times.

  1. Taking off the bandages, let your skin breathe a little. You may experience burning, tingling, and other discomfort. This is normal, as a part of your skin has undergone real surgery a few hours ago. After that, gently rinse the tattoo with warm or cool water. Use a delicate soapy liquid, preferably antibacterial soap... Do not use too hot or cold water, as this can intensify painful sensations and injure the damaged area. Do not use sponges or fine wipes to avoid injury or open wounds. Be sure to thoroughly rinse off any traces of blood to prevent scarring on the skin, and completely remove the soap from the body area.
  2. Now you need to dry your skin. Ideally blot with a clean cellulose towel. Textile fabric will not work in our case, since the fabric is currently a source of bacteria and microbes. Do not rub the skin; after application, tattoo care should be delicate and gentle at all stages. If touching with a soft paper towel is painful for you or you are simply afraid to touch the tattoo area, then you can let it dry itself.
  3. Then it is necessary to moisten the area of the drawing. The damaged skin is already beginning to slowly heal, and even after the first wash, you may feel a little tightness. It will occur even when using a delicate moisturizing soap. Therefore, now the skin needs to be well moisturized. Use a lotion or special cream with a healing effect. For the first time, it is better to consult a tattoo artist about choosing the right tattoo care product.

Damaged area wetting technique:

  • apply a moderate amount of the product on the tattoo with gentle movements, do not overdo it, too much lotion is not very good;
  • wait until the product is completely absorbed;
  • do not use ointments and lotions containing alcohol, cortisone and aloe vera, they will only irritate the affected area;
  • do not apply a bandage to the wetted area, from now on, the patterned skin should be exposed.

Try to take good care of the tattoo both in the first hours and all the subsequent time. A responsible approach to the recovery process will help make this period less painful and prolonged in time.

How and with what to treat a tattoo in the first 2-3 weeks after application?

The next step will be a period of time 2-3 weeks after drawing... It is longer, but simpler than the previous one, because by this time the skin will have time to recover a little, and the painful sensations will dull and will no longer cause tangible discomfort.

Daily hygiene procedures for a patterned body area are now your basic rule. Wash your tattoo twice a day for at least two weeks. The technique of hygienic care for the pattern on the body is no different from the procedure that you performed in the first 24 hours.

Over time, the painful sensations will be replaced by annoying itching, as the skin heals, and already now you can notice a thin crust on it. Use a moisturizer, lotion, or ointment several times a day on the damaged area. Thorough hydration will relieve itching and speed recovery.

If your tattoo is in a place that is hidden under clothing, then for the healing period it's better to choose free things from natural materials... Thick synthetic clothing can not only damage the skin that is still too delicate, but also cause inflammation or infection. The rules for caring for a tattoo after application include it mandatory protection against aggressive exposure to ultraviolet radiation

If you experience itching, try not to scratch the tattoo so as not to injure the body. Among other things, do not forget to constantly monitor the tattoo: its color, the presence of redness, inflammation or rash. A timely response to a problem will help to quickly prevent adverse consequences. Drink water, it is good for your body as a whole, and also saturates the skin with moisture, which makes the recovery process less painful.

How to properly care for your tattoo in the long term

Caring for a tattoo is a constant task. We offer several useful tips about leaving for the rest of the time:

  • it is necessary to treat the tattoo with sunscreen with a high SPF;
  • it is better to abandon artificial tanning procedures;
  • make sure that the tattoo does not sweat, prefer natural light clothing in hot weather;
  • moisturize your skin with lotions or creams;
  • if you have a rash or other kind of discomfort, see a dermatologist;
  • constantly monitor the condition of the tattoo.

Compliance with all of the above rules will help you quickly restore your skin and minimize pain. The main thing is to take care of the tattoo as responsibly as to the choice of its design. Be healthy and don't have a hassle with your tattoo!

The tattoo artist has finished his job and now you are the proud owner of an excellent (or not so lucky) tattoo. The master heals the "wound" on your body, puts on a protective bandage and lets you go.

From now on, how the tattoo will look after healing will depend only on you! Failure to follow the rules for caring for a tattoo in the next two weeks can turn your tattoo into a shapeless "purse", and it can also be dangerous to your health.

How to care for a tattoo immediately after application

When can the bandage be removed?

In the salon, the master "packs" your tattoo in plastic wrap, or in an absorbent baby diaper (the latter is preferable). The recommended wearing time for a protective film bandage is up to 4 hours. The absorbent diaper compares favorably with ordinary cling film in that it absorbs blood, ichor, plasma and pigments, and can also be worn up to 12 hours. In any case, you need to check the wearing time with the master.

There are also special professional healing films that are glued directly onto the tattoo and worn until complete healing. But, this is quite an expensive pleasure.

How to wash out a tattoo?

After removing the bandages, the tattoo should be washed with boiled soapy water, or if it is not possible to use / prepare it, use drinking water with soap and "CHLORHEXIDINE". Contrary to misconceptions, a freshly applied tattoo cannot be washed with alcohol-based products and hydrogen peroxide! When washing, do not rub the tattoo, with neat and smooth movements remove everything that stands out from the "wound" and let it dry. Do not wipe the tattoo with towels, napkins and cotton pads, the villi can cause irritation and inflammation!

How to lubricate a tattoo?

Once dry, a healing ointment should be applied to the tattoo. There are a great variety of them, from ordinary ones sold in pharmacies such as "DEX-PANTENOL" and "BEPANTEN" to professional ones, available only from tattoo artists, which are recommended to be used specifically for healing tattoos. Before choosing an ointment, consult with your master.

After applying the ointment, you need to glue the tattoo over again. Use an absorbent diaper, the cling film is only good for getting from the salon to the house.

First week

For the first 3-5 days, rinsing the tattoo and applying healing ointments should be repeated, ideally every 4 hours, but not less 3 times a day. You can stop gluing with an absorbent diaper if the inside the diaper has no traces of pigment release from the skin.

A crust appeared. What to do?

After a couple of days, a crust will begin to appear on the tattoo, which will dry out and fall off. Do not scratch or peel off the crust, you can damage the pattern by tearing off a piece of dead peeling skin in place with a piece of living skin (the crust is dead skin). During the daily rinsing, small fragments of the crust will leave on their own, and they should be removed. As it heals, the crust will disappear completely.

I peeled off the crust! What to do?

If you peeled off the crust along with a piece of skin, just treat the damaged area, wait for the blood, lymph and ichor to stop, then apply a healing ointment and apply a bandage. After complete healing on the damaged area, there may be a pallor of the pattern, blurring of the contours and even a small scar. In this case, you need to agree with the master about the tattoo correction.

Complete healing of the tattoo

How long does a tattoo take to heal?

Full healing of a tattoo takes about two weeks on average. The duration of healing depends both on the characteristics of your body and on the size and density of the tattoo. During healing, you need to make some adjustments to your leisure time so that it does not damage the tattoo and your health.

Tattoo correction is carried out 30-40 days after the tattoo session.

Tanning in a solarium and in the sun

Ultraviolet light, acting even on a healed tattoo, can lighten the coloring pigments. The effect on an unhealed tattoo is much stronger, therefore, the tattoo should be protected from ultraviolet radiation until it heals. If you really want to sunbathe, apply sunscreen protective creams to the tattoo, from 30 SPF.

Showering and bathing

Unlike the special rinsing treatment of a tattoo, when showering or bathing, the tattoo can get rust, dirt and bacteria that can cause inflammation. As a result, some of the coloring pigments can escape from the skin. You will have to refuse from long baths, bathing in salt water, swimming pools and public reservoirs, visiting baths, saunas.

If you want to take a shower, lubricate the tattoo with a greasy healing ointment and cover it with cling film, this measure will be enough to prevent water from getting on the tattoo.

Sports, alcohol and drugs

During sports, drinking alcohol, as well as taking certain medications, blood pressure may rise, as a result of which the coloring pigment simply "squeezes" out of the skin along with blood. In addition, when you take certain medications, your body can reject the dye in your skin. In this case, you are guaranteed an unpleasant allergic reaction. In addition, sweat will be generated during sports activities, which can cause irritation.

The consequences of improper care

Remember, tattoo artists are not responsible for the tattoo if you did not properly care for it, and he is not obliged to monitor you and remind you of the need to process the tattoo and abstain from alcohol. If, due to neglect of the recommendations of the master, problems have arisen, this is entirely your fault, and the consequences of this cannot always be easily eliminated. And the consequences can be very serious, both for you and for the tattoo. For example:

  • discoloration of the tattoo, in places complete loss of pigments;
  • large scars;
  • blurring the contours of the picture;
  • an allergic reaction that can last for years without treatment.

Once you've become an honorary bearer of your wearable art object, you need to take proper care of your tattoo. What this means, how long the healing takes and what safety measures need to be taken - we will discuss all this in our article.

How does a tattoo heal ?!

Tattoo healing is the process of tissue regeneration after being injured by a machine and injecting paint under the skin. Basically, a tattoo heals in much the same way as a burn. At first, reddening is observed at the site of the pattern, the pattern itself may become convex and hot. In the first hours and even days, this is normal.

To learn how to care for a tattoo, you need to take into account possible consequences its application. It can be inflammation, infection, and even (in the worst case, and without medical care) blood poisoning. Alarming symptoms that cannot be ignored are:

  • Body temperature over 37 degrees;
  • Puffiness of the skin and engorgement not only in the place of the tattoo, but also far beyond its borders;
  • Severe pain sensations;
  • Hardening of tissues, severe itching;
  • The appearance of abscesses and abscesses on the tattooed surface;
  • Unpleasant odor coming from damaged skin;
  • Red streaks radiating across the skin around the tattoo.

Any of these signs is a reason for immediate medical attention. This is not the time to self-medicate, no online consultations and search for similar symptoms from virtual acquaintances. Overconfidence can cost you your health.

As for less serious (and more likely) complications, if the tattoo care in the first days is insufficient or performed incorrectly, the drawing is poorly preserved. Paint can smear, lines "float", colors fade. All this is not a sign of poor work of the master, but most often - the consequences of the irresponsibility of his wards.

Tattoo Care Memo

After the procedure, every self-respecting professional will provide the client with recommendations on how to take care of the tattoo on their own. The instruction can be given orally or in printed form, it reveals the following principles step by step:

  • Asepsis, the basics of hygiene, necessary to prevent infection;
  • Advice on the choice of ointments, frequency of procedures;
  • Diet restrictions, careful attention to alcohol;
  • Clothing, thermal conditions and restrictions on exposure to the sun.

Caring for a tattoo after application, as a rule, begins in the master's office.

  1. He applies ointment and wraps (wraps) the drawing just made, after which the client gets dressed and goes home.
  2. At home, care for the tattoo needs to be resumed after 5-6 hours. It is recommended to remove the film, wash off the ichor with warm clean water, you can use antibacterial hypoallergenic soap or gel.
    It is forbidden to rub the tattoo and process it with miramistin (chlorhexidine): the first will lead to the appearance of microtraumas, infection and damage to the pattern. The second dries out the skin and makes it difficult to heal.
  3. Dry the skin with a paper towel.

Reusable woven towels are a suitable breeding ground for bacteria. In addition, the fluff can stick to wounds and irritate them.

After drying, it is proposed to lubricate the skin with a thin layer with one of the following means:

  • Bepanten (healing cream);
  • D-Panthenol (ointment for burns and injuries);
  • Baneocin (if you are not allergic to it).

After another 6 hours, it is worth repeating the procedure. At the same time, it is undesirable to apply bandages and compresses to oneself: the skin should breathe and be as open as possible.

Unpleasant moments of fresh tattoos: it needs to be experienced

Everyone knows that the healing of a tattoo is accompanied by unpleasant phenomena: itching and crusting. Correct care behind a tattoo - not only timely cleansing and processing. It's also about serious self-control.

  • Ripping with nails, combing and rubbing the tattoo is strictly prohibited.
  • You cannot peel off the crusts: this is fraught with the appearance of rough scars that will ruin the drawing and nullify the artist's skill. In addition, bacteria can get into fresh wounds, and then the inflammatory process will begin.

Full-fledged tattoo care after application lasts from 10 days to 2 weeks. During this period, the crusts come off, as do the white scales (scabs) that often form in their place. Swelling and redness should also subside, the contours of the patterns become smooth to the touch. Here you can fully appreciate the quality of the tattoo.

Important: the owner of a freshly applied tattoo should stop drinking alcohol at least in the first 2 weeks after the session. Why?

  • Hot drinks increase blood circulation, which can affect the clarity and brightness of colors;
  • Alcohol consumption reduces the body's resistance, and immunity decreases. As a result, healing is much slower.

If, nevertheless, there is a serious reason to celebrate, seasoned ones are advised to give preference to strong drinks. Beer, for example, contributes to unpleasant swelling in tattooed areas.

There are also recommendations on the diet: it is advised to eat more fresh vegetables and seafood, as well as everything that is rich in vitamin E. This substance will promote healing as part of creams and ointments, however, it will not hurt in the form of food.

Maximum program: preserve the tattoo in its original form

You can't relax:

  • After the tattoo is completely healed, the treated part of the body needs a guard mode. Obviously, caring for a tattoo in the early days requires refraining from sports. Increased sweating will damage both the paint and the skin.
  • At the same time, the initial healing of a tattoo is not at all a signal to immediately go to the simulators or to the sauna. Do not go to sunbathe on the beach right away. Experts do not recommend being in the open sun from two weeks to a month after the pattern is full. The pigment is corny fading, and sensitive skin suffers even more.
  • It is better not to take care of a tattoo with creams and ointments with cortisone, antibiotics, and also anti-scar agents. The active substances contained in them destroy the paint and distort the original idea embodied by the master.

Clothing is another important point. Your enemies in the first two weeks are:

  • Tight fitting things. They rub the skin, making it difficult for the tattoo to heal;
  • Synthetic fabrics. They provoke perspiration, irritate the epidermis.

Proper tattoo care involves wearing only natural fabrics (cotton, linen), free models for the season. Overheating in any form should be avoided.

Forewarned - forearmed. How to choose a tattoo artist ?!

  • The most important point, in fact, it is not caring for the tattoo after application, but a conscious choice of the office (clinic, salon) where you will have the procedure done. As well as a competent approach to choosing a master, for this you need to get acquainted with reviews of his work and a real portfolio.
  • At the same time, artistic talent is not the only aspect worth paying attention to. The most important thing for health is how carefully the specialist sterilizes the instruments, in what condition his workplace is, as well as himself.
  • Gone are the days when tattoos were done in dubious apartments, by acquaintance through third hands, by a drunken master. Now the best of them will not only tell you how to take care of a tattoo, but also provide you with the necessary preparations and hygiene products, up to disposable diapers and a breathable bandage.
  • However, the performers of this service have become more literate: now in many salons a standard contract is concluded with the client (patient), in which the self-care of the tattoo after application is scheduled. And if later it turns out that the person did not take care of the tattoo in full, all the risks and responsibility for the result lie only with him.
  • So, many modern tattoo parlors carry out the necessary correction for an additional fee. Indeed, it is not their fault that the client considered taking care of the tattoo as something unnecessary and unimportant.

So, to summarize: the first question is not “how to care for a tattoo,” but where it is better to get it done. Directly caring for the tattoo includes the observance of sterility, healthy image life (at least for the period until complete healing) and the absence of exposure to ultraviolet radiation and high temperatures... If this scheme is followed in stages, then there should be no problems: your tattoo will delight you for a long time and will not cause any trouble.

In this article, we will tell you what neglect of the rules of tattoo care can lead to, as well as how to properly care for it in order to prevent unpleasant symptoms.

A tattoo is a cross between cosmetic procedure and medical surgery. Therefore, due attention should be paid to the risks associated with this process. Negative consequences can arise after the procedure without proper care.

Allergy

The main thing to be wary of is an allergic reaction to the pigment. Modern paint is usually completely harmless and hypoallergenic. Only those who are not sure of the chosen master should be worried.

Infection

If unwanted particles come into contact with an open wound, it causes infection and contamination. You can be calm if the following rules are observed in the tattoo parlor:

  • needles, pigment containers and equipment are completely sterile;
  • furniture located around the master's workplace is wrapped in cling film;
  • wet cleaning, insect prevention, air conditioning are carried out in the tattoo parlor;
  • The tattoo artist maintains hygiene: gloves, hair pulled back, clean clothes.

Improper healing

The most common problem in modern practice. Proper care of damaged skin is essential. Otherwise, you may face the following consequences:

  • inflammation of the skin from rubbing with rough tissue;
  • scars and scars from scratching the crust formed at the site of the tattoo;
  • fading of paint from exposure to ultraviolet radiation;
  • slow and painful healing due to weakened immunity.

All of this can be easily avoided by following the simple guidelines that we will share next. But remember that the biggest risk for any tattoo owner is substandard work. It is a poor choice of a master or an ill-considered idea of a body painting that are the main reasons for disappointment.

Before going to the master, you should follow the precautions:

  • Do not drink alcohol and medicines before tattooing. They thin the blood, resulting in bleeding.
  • If you feel unwell, have a cold, or signs of illness, postpone your visit to the tattoo artist. It will take more time and effort to heal the wound.
  • Choose clothes that will not prevent the artist from getting to the place of the future tattoo. A professional will do everything possible to avoid getting your clothes dirty, but sometimes it does happen.

How to care for a tattoo?

After finishing the work, the master will process the wound and wrap it with foil. Now the future of tattooing depends only on you.

First 2-3 days

    Remove the film one hour after the session.

    Wash your hands thoroughly and gently remove blood and paint from the wound. Antibacterial soap and water are your best friends.

    Blot the tattoo with a paper towel. Never use fabric towels!

    Apply a thin layer of the healing cream to the wound. We recommend Bepanten, D-panthenol or methyluracil ointment.

    Make an absorbent bandage from a normal baby diaper and attach it securely to your body.

  1. Avoid physical activity... Try not to sweat. Sweat is a strong irritant.

Repeat this procedure every 3 hours for the next 2-3 days. Do not use ointments such as Levomekol and Rescuer. They target inflammation and pull foreign cells out of the skin. They also affect the coloring pigment.

First 2-3 weeks

The bandage can now be removed completely. It's time for a tattoo to breathe. Lubricate it with a healing cream several times a day. After removing the film, wear lightweight, breathable clothing. Synthetics or other harsh fabrics will chafe the leather. She will itch - this is natural, but do not try to scratch it. Refuse to go to the pool - the pigment will fall out of the bleach. Also, the tattoo cannot be steamed. You should also forget about going to the solarium or the beach. Remember these rules until the tattoo is completely healed.

Long-term tattoo care

The tattoo will heal after a month, but it will still need to be looked after. Stick to the following rules:

  1. No baths, saunas or sunbathing for 1-2 months after going to the tattoo parlor. After a couple of months, you can go sunbathing, but always use sunscreen on the beach. Sun rays and skin-steaming procedures are now enemies of your tattoo. Due to ultraviolet radiation, the tattoo fades, and due to "hot" procedures, the pigment falls out.
  2. Nourishing your skin is still important. If possible, apply a thin layer of moisturizer to the tattoo so it stays bright longer.
  3. Be careful if your job involves strenuous physical activity. Sweat and tattoo are not allies.

These rules are not always easy to follow. But the tattoo will stay with you for life. Done - wear with pleasure. And let it be bright and high quality. You can do it, we believe in you!

The quality of a tattoo is half dependent on the artist and half on you. Proper care preserves bright colors and smooth lines, the drawing remains juicy and clear longer. Next, we talk about two ways to care for a fresh tattoo, why

The quality of a tattoo is half dependent on the artist and half on you. Proper care preserves bright colors and straight lines, the drawing remains juicy and clear for longer. Next, we'll talk about two ways to take care of a fresh tattoo, why film is a bad idea, and what not to do after the session.

How was courted before

Somehow, here's how :) The tattoos were smeared with petroleum jelly and covered with cling film - the skin melted, the pigment did not come out, the smell was also not the most pleasant. This beauty could fester, it reached scars. All instructions contained the phrase “do not peel off the crusts!”: They did appear, falling off with the pigment. Now crusting or peeling is a sign of poor healing, the tattoo should be moist and soft. If the master recommends cling film for you, we recommend that you contact a more professional person who follows the latest in the field of tattooing.

There are stories when guys used aftershave cream and Rescuer - in the latter case, Rescuer saved everything, including the paint. The tattoo came out completely :) If you want a high-quality drawing, heal according to the instructions above.

Tattoo care in the early days

The culture of tattoo for a long time, 10 years ago, moved away from care with cling film and incomprehensible creams. Previously, the drawing dried out, crusts formed, the chances of successful healing decreased.

Now there are two ways that the tattoo is preserved so that it remains bright, clear, heals without gaps and requires almost no correction.

Method 1. Ointment and disposable diapers

    Disposable diaper
    This is the best thing that humanity has come up with for tattoo care. It protects the drawing from dirt and dust - like cling film. But if the skin melts under the film, then under the diaper it breathes. And the fabric also absorbs the pigment that has not taken root: it is easier to wash the skin, "snot" from lymph and paint does not form.
    Choose the cheapest diapers: the composition is the same, but they cost half as much famous brands... They are sold in children's department any supermarket.

    3-4 hours after the session remove the diaper and wash the tattoo with soap and warm water. Apply the cream and cover with a new diaper. Before the cream, you can blot the pattern with chlorhexidine to disinfect the wounds.

    First 4 days repeat the same every five to six hours. If you got a tattoo in the summer, change the diaper every three to four hours. You do not need to get up at night, it is enough to repeat the care before and after sleep. The first days the diaper absorbs the pigment - this is normal, do not be alarmed, it will not take away too much. :)

    In 5 days the tattoo brightens - this is the usual protection of the body. Also, do not be alarmed, after healing, the color will reappear. You do not need to cover with a diaper, enough ointment and rinsing for a week.

Method 2. With a special healing film

It is a breathable film under which the tattoo heals itself. There is no need to constantly rinse, change diapers, carry cream with you. 5-6 days - and you're done, the tattoo has healed. The film is based on hypoallergenic glue, adheres tightly to the skin and does its job. You can wash gently and go about your usual activities.

    On the first day after the session the tattoo under the film looks as it is.

    On the second day the place of the tattoo is warming. Under the film, a ichor is formed, mixed with unhealthy pigment. It looks like a floating dark slurry, see the first photo below. It should be so.

    On the third or fourth day the liquid evaporates, the film seems to crack, and the skin tightens a little. This is fine.

    On the fifth to sixth day it's time to shoot the film. Not on dry, always on steamed skin! A hot bath will do (about 20 minutes). This is enough to steam up the film and be patient. Take your time and gently sip on the film from all ends. Looks like a snake's molt :) If it comes off badly, get out of the bath and dry it with a hairdryer. Withdrawal takes 15-20 minutes. After that, rinse off the tattoo and spread with any moisturizer. If you feel dry within a week, continue to smear.

The author of the article healed tattoos in both ways. I liked the first one more :) The healing film came off hard, the sensations were not pleasant. But then someone like it: there are a lot of positive reviews on the healing film, you don't have to think about where, how and what to wash. Try it and you will find yours!
