Coconut body oil

Studies show that coconut oil is well absorbed and absorbed quickly by human skin. Personally, my research says the same thing after every coconut oil bath. Coconut oil perfectly moisturizes, tones and softens the skin, making it velvety and very pleasant. A thin film formed on the skin protects it from the harmful effects of the environment, so coconut oil in creams or in pure form can act as sunscreen. It is recommended to use it before and after sunbathing. This helps to avoid sunburn and get an even, beautiful tan.

Coconut oil can also be used in the care of sensitive, inflamed and irritated skin. it has good anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and sedative effects. Including after epilation.

Moisturizing dry body skin

The most important thing for me personally is moisturizing dry skin with coconut oil while taking a bath or shower. This is especially true if you have lived in Thailand for a long time and came to Russia (winterers will understand).

In principle, from tropical countries in the cold, I never come without coconut oil!

  1. Moisturizing the skin after a shower. To moisturize the skin after a shower, it is enough pour 1 tablespoon of oil into the palm of your hand and apply to damp skin immediately after a shower or right while taking it with massaging movements. Then wipe the skin with a towel.
  2. Baths with coconut oil. You can add a tablespoon of coconut oil to your bath of water. If the skin is very dry, the amount of oil can be increased.

For me personally, no moisturizer can compare to the effect of regular coconut oil in combating dry skin in Siberia in winter.

Cleansing and moisturizing the skin

If you mix coconut oil with salt or brown sugar, you get a great moisturizing body scrub.

Can be used on the entire body or on areas of hardened skin such as for dry skin on the elbows.

Coconut cuticle oil

Rubbing oil into the skin around the nail plates moisturizes, helps to get rid of flaking and dry cuticles.

For moisturizing the skin of the feet

When you massage and cleanse your feet with coconut oil, the skin becomes softer and softer.

Coconut oil for internal use

Scientific research has shown that the lauric acid in coconut oil is ideal for keeping cholesterol levels in the normal range.

Coconut oil has a bunch of beneficial properties and prescriptions for use in a variety of diseases: it improves digestion, mental performance. Consuming coconut oil internally helps to reduce the risk of developing atherosclerosis, heart and oncological diseases, the body becomes resistant to viral diseases and all kinds of infections, due to the fact that the oil strengthens the immune system and at the same time reduces the ability of viruses to adapt to antibiotics. Since I travel a lot and often live for a long time in the countries of Southeast Asia with high humidity, when I return to Siberia and after a sharp change in climate, I simply cannot do without coconut oil.

First of all, I use coconut oil to soften the skin and today it is best remedy against dry skin of the whole body. Better than expensive creams and moisturizers.

For hair, I gradually stopped using it, because I stopped noticing special effect, or even vice versa - the effect of drying the hair and unpleasant sensations appeared, but most likely this is due to the fact that I made a long-term styling and ruined my hair with it. Many of my friends use coconut oil for hair even after dyeing (although it is not recommended to apply oil on damaged hair) and are delighted with this remedy.

Using coconut oil is great natural way make your hair and skin soft, shiny and healthy. Coconut oil is natural and contains no chemicals. Hair conditioning

    Put on your old clothes. Coconut oil can drip, so wear an old T-shirt or wrap a towel around your shoulders to keep the oil from getting on your clothes. It's best to start conditioning in the bathroom, but then move around while the oil soaks into your hair for a few hours.

    Choose a cover for your hair. You can use a plastic shower cap or an old T-shirt to wrap your hair. Choose something that you can leave on your head for several hours, or even overnight.

    Pour 3-5 tablespoons of coconut oil into a bowl. The amount of coconut oil you need depends on the length and thickness of your hair. If you have long, thick hair, use 5 tablespoons. If your hair is shorter and thinner, then you only need 3 or 4 spoons.

    • Use unrefined coconut oil instead of refined or solvent extracted. Refined coconut oil contains additives and goes through several processes that break down some of the natural ingredients that are so good for your hair and skin. Unrefined coconut oil is a whole, natural, healthy boon. At the same time, solvent-extracted oil usually contains traces of the hazardous solvent hexane.
    • Try not to use too much oil. Apply coconut oil to the middle and bottom of hair growth. If you apply too much oil, especially near your scalp, your hair will look greasy, even after rinsing thoroughly. Your hair makes its own natural oils, remember this.
  1. Heat the coconut oil. Do not use a microwave oven for heating, as it can destroy bio-active ingredients.

    • You can use your hands to melt the coconut oil if you don't have a microwave. Melt 1 tablespoon at a time, holding between your palms and squeezing gently. Coconut oil melts with very little heat.
    • You can also heat the coconut oil on the stove. Place it in a small saucepan and heat it over low heat.
    • You can also heat the coconut oil in a jar by placing it under the hot water in the sink until it melts, which will only take a few seconds.
  2. Rub coconut oil into your hair. Let it cool for a few moments so it is not scalding hot, then pour the coconut oil over your head, spreading it evenly over the scalp. Use your fingers to massage and spread evenly through the hair from roots to ends. Continue rubbing the oil into your hair until your hair is completely covered with coconut oil.

    • You can use a comb to distribute the oil evenly through your hair. Comb your hair from roots to ends.
    • You may only want to moisturize the ends of your hair, not the roots. If so, apply coconut oil to the ends of your hair, not to your scalp. Massage your head with your hands.
  3. Collect hair and wrap with cover. Put on a shower cap and wrap with cling film or an old T-shirt to completely cover your hair.

    • You can secure your hair with a loose elastic band to keep it wrapped around your head.
    • Wipe off any drops that may have gotten on your face during the wrap with a towel.
  4. Wait at least 2 hours or leave overnight for the oil to absorb. The longer you keep it on your hair, the more hydrated your hair will be. Wait as long as possible for the best effect.

    Remove the covering from the hair and wash. Use your favorite shampoo (preferably one with natural ingredients to keep your hair healthy) to wash off the coconut oil. Rinse off 2 or 3 times to prevent oily hair.

    Leave your hair to dry. Let them air dry or blow dry with a hair dryer to see the effect of the moisturizing treatment. They should be soft, shiny and iridescent after using coconut oil.

    Moisturizing the face

    1. Clean your face as usual. Whether it's a regular wash, a brush exfoliation, or a grease removal method, wash your face. Blot your face with a soft towel, do not rub, as the skin of the face is very delicate, and if rubbed with force, the skin can be damaged.

      Rub a small amount of coconut oil around your eyes. Coconut oil is an excellent cream for the eye area and eyelids. It helps to moisturize very thin skin, improving dark circles under the eyes and smoothing out wrinkles. Rub a small amount into the eye area; concentrate on the areas where there are wrinkles.

      • You will probably need quite a bit of oil for each eye. Don't use too much!
      • Avoid getting coconut oil in your eyes. It will cover your eyes with a thin film, and your vision will be blurred for a while!
    2. Apply coconut oil in moderation to other dry areas of your skin. If you have very dry skin in the area between your eyebrows, temples or elsewhere, apply a small amount of coconut oil. Rub it gently in a circular motion.

      Rub coconut oil on your lips. Unrefined coconut oil will soften and moisturize chapped lips. It's edible, so don't worry if you swallow a little. In fact, consuming coconut oil is very beneficial for your health.

      Use coconut oil as a face cream. Apply it after showering or after washing. Let it soak into your skin for 10 minutes before applying makeup. To cover the entire face, you will need a ten-piece amount.

      • Some people get allergic when they start using coconut oil where and when they should. Try using coconut oil on a small area of ​​your skin for a few days. If you like the effect and do not see any traces of allergies, then continue using it wherever you like.
      • You can also use coconut oil as a cleanser. Again, be careful if your pores are enlarged and prone to clogging. You can dilute coconut oil with castor oil if you're worried it will be too oily for your skin.

    Moisturizing the body

    1. Apply coconut oil after your bath or shower. When your skin is still warm and supple after a bath or shower, the coconut oil will be more easily absorbed.

      Use a tablespoon of coconut oil to moisturize your hands. Take a tablespoon and place it on your hand. Use your opposite hand to rub in until the coconut oil melts onto your skin. Repeat the procedure with the other hand.

      Use two tablespoons of coconut oil to moisturize your feet. Take two tablespoons and rub into your thighs, knees, shins and feet. Continue rubbing in until the coconut oil melts into your skin. Repeat the procedure with the other leg.

      Use another tablespoon to moisturize your torso. Massage into your back, buttocks, abdomen, chest and any other area where hydration is needed. Use coconut oil just like any other lotion.

      Let the coconut oil soak. The coconut oil will be absorbed into the skin in about 15 minutes. In the meantime, stay in the bathroom or put on a bathrobe to avoid oiling your clothes or furniture.

      Take a coconut oil bath. Add a full shot of coconut oil to a warm, almost hot bath and stir to dissolve. Then take a bath with this water. Do this for several weeks, once or twice a week, until you notice that your skin is no longer dry.

    Other ways to use coconut oil

      Use coconut oil as a massage oil. You can flavor coconut oil with a few drops of essential oils like lavender or rose. Use the oil for yourself or your partner as a sensual homemade massage oil.

      Use coconut oil for unmanageable hair. Rub coconut oil the size of a pea between your hands and sweep through your hair to get rid of frizzy hair.

      Use coconut oil to reduce scars . Apply coconut oil liberally to your scar. Repeat the procedure twice a day. Over time, you will notice how the scar shrinks and merges with your skin.

      Use coconut oil for silky hair. Pour some coconut oil into a bowl. Heat it to a liquid state, then refrigerate.

      • Take some oil in your hand.
      • Apply it to your scalp. Massage your head and gather your hair high.
      • Do this procedure in the evening and wash your hair in the morning. Your hair will become silky and strong.
    1. Use coconut oil as your cuticle oil. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Apply coconut oil to your cuticles. For each hand, you need very little (about a pea). Rub the oil into the cuticle until it is completely absorbed.

      Combine coconut oil and dried curry leaves, neem leaves and hibiscus flowers. Heat the coconut oil and all the ingredients you need. Cool the mixture to room temperature, then apply it to the scalp using cotton swabs. Massage gently and leave overnight. The next morning, wash off the mixture with shampoo. Your hair will be delightfully shiny and soft.

      Use coconut oil to remove makeup. It acts as a moisturizer. Rub the oil on your face, leave it on for a few minutes, then wash off the oil and dry your face as usual. Sometimes, coconut oil will work better than any milk or makeup remover toner.

    • A small amount of oil covers a large area. Don't use too much.
    • Coconut oil can also be mixed with sugar to make a natural scrub for normal to dry skin.
    • Coconut oil is 90% effective against lice when rubbed into the scalp.
    • Coconut oil heals hair and can speed up hair growth with frequent use.
    • If you dye your hair at home, coconut oil can be used to reduce chemical damage. Add a few drops to the paint and mix thoroughly before use.
    • Do not leave the oil on for longer than a day before rinsing it off, otherwise your hair will smell bad and become greasy.
    • Add Alma / Indian Gooseberry Powder to preserve melanin in hair follicles. Melanin prevents gray hair.
    • Coconut oil is great to use as a lotion / moisturizer for sensitive skin because it is 100% natural and does not cause acne (unless you are allergic, of course).
